Blawgh

No matter how pure you may be ... face it, there's darkness in your heart. Before it consumes you, be darkness itself.

Lafcadio Hearn Is A Nice Name

Why am I blogging so early, you ask? Why, that's because ... I woke up early! ... ... ...

Well, I woke up early, then Mynci, my father and I went out for breakfast at a coffee shop in the main town of Bau. I gobbled up my fried rice then hopped over to QQ's shop. We walked around on pretense. Due to that pretense, I never saw her. Wow. So I went over to the bookstore, grabbed a manga mag, and here I am at home. I got a tummy ache from my breakfast. Stupid coffee shop food. Must have been my canned drink. The can looked pretty unhygienic even after I wiped it with tissue. After that I played a little Cradle of Persia on my computer. It's a pretty nifty game that my sis dug up from out of nowhere. As in, from the computer. She said she got it from the My Pictures folder O_O ... well, she never answers straight, but I gotta thank her for getting a new game. Out of nowhere. Cool.

Since I am free anyways ... Let's recap back to March. I went to China. I never blogged about it. I really went there for the big Liew bloodline reunion. Ha. Wth.

While I was still in Guangzhou city, I did once when searching for my mother in the late evening when she hasn't came back after quite awhile (she said she went to buy some sundries?). Of course, I won't do that for my father. So, acting like a detective, I scanned the main street for any traces of blood/glass/metal in case my mom got into an accident. Phew, thank goodness nothing happened. Next was the nearest strip mall. I whipped out my iPhone, and started asking random people whether they have seen the woman in the photo that I was displaying. Sigh ... no dice. It was really worrying. Not to mention the weather was cold. In the end, I gave up and trudged back to the hotel. My mom returned much much later. Apparently she netted herself a guide of her own and she went shopping elsewhere and there were lots of snacks and cup noodles. Yay? Okay, so that was very worrisome and it repeated the following night. Only that time, I brought my sis along. In the end our search bore no fruit. Anyways, that aside, the hotel's buffet was awesome! I always look forward to breakfast every morning. Since I can get any ingredients I want, I tried out food art! I'll just post one:

I know I could have tidied up the lower-right side a bit, but I forgot. This is the easiest form of food art for me yet - just use fried rice as base, then sprinkle some furikake to make shapes. The buffet had all sorts of condiments, and was I delighted when I saw that they have furikake! There were many other foodstuffs, I definitely recommend it. It's the Baiyun Hotel, in case it had already slipped your mind.

I would like to continue, but I have only done 1/4 of my total homework!

Clutch Shot Wins The Game

Hi. I am back from my 3/4-months-long hiatus. I'll try to make my blog friendlier for the culturally dense (NO offense), therefore whenever you see something that is both bolded and italicised like this, I will explain the word/phrase by the end of the post.

Why was I on hiatus again? I suppose I was tired (read: lazy), as in real tired(read: real lazy). Um, I wanted to talk about many things that happened during my break off blogging, but then again EHEM isn't helping.

Okay ... so I went back to my last non-tag post. Seems I've not even done with the China trip. Oh fine.

After I left school on Friday, I flew to Singapore. Wow, I haven't been there in years. All this while I've been seeing Singapore through the television only. I went there expecting to meet Singapore artistes, like Li Nanxing, Dawn Yeoh, Xiang Yun, Zhu Houren ... well, you get my gist. Especially since I landed at Changi Airport (IIRC there's another airport in Singapore) where a lot of Singaporean dramas film their later episodes (parts where I usually cry) - um, think Love At Zero Degrees or The Defining Moment. I did take pictures. But I'm too lazy to post them up. Maybe some other time ~

We were welcomed by one of my father's friends whom I've known for quite some time but never knew that he's a Singaporean resident. His wife is the chief stewardess of Singapore Airlines. So says my father. Whatever, not that it matters. Eh, that rhymed (this is a running gag between Phil and me specifically)! We went to his car and I saw that it was a ..... TOYOTA VIOS. Wow. It's my dream to sit in one. It's a silver Vios, but oh well, it's still a Vios, so who cares? The law in Singapore also demands that those sitting in the back put on their seatbelts, so I tried putting mine on. It wouldn't stick into the freaking slot! Therefore, I just put on my cool mysterious face, seatbelt pulled down to the slot, and acting cool. Along the way to the hotel I painstakingly SMS-ed with QQ

It was a shame that I arrived in Singapore at night, but I did recognize a few places filmed on dramas. We reached a hotel and I had to say goodbye to the silver Vios. Boohoo. Blah. While waiting for my father to get us checked in (an annoying wait) I listened to a band performing in the lounge. Oldies. People started singing along and clapping and so did I. Yay.

In the hotel room I stripped nude and started doing gravure play on the bed, all the while camwhoring. I did all the sexy poses while everyone dozed off. HMM ... I wonder if I was kidding ... I should be ..... right? Anyways I also watched a chinese horror movie on TV. Quite an old one, in fact. Then some gaming on the DS - basically testing my new games at that time.

I wanna play badminton, I haven't played in over a week, so I'll be off. Maybe another update tonight. Tara ~

HeCuDePe (pronounced hay-q-deep ... Helping Culturally Dense People)

1. hiatus - A break or interruption in the continuity of a series, work etc. Think the mangaka of Hunter X Hunter who has been on quite a hiatus now.

2. EHEM - Fine, so it has nothing to do with culture. It stands for Evil Housing Estate Manager Memory. My memory system is like a housing estate, where I am the manager. People (memories) come to me to buy residences (memory niche) and I issue the houses. These days people are very cautious of criminals, thus they basically lock themselves up in their houses with their family (strongly related memories) and install all sorts of security systems (memory locks). At night (times when I reach out for memories), I transform into my alter ego - a serial killer (memory seeker). Sadly I cannot kill people without entering their houses, and to do so I must disable their security systems (unlock memory locks). To do so I must obtain password(s) (related clues that can link to the memories residing in the niche I want to unlock). If I can find the password(s), then I can infiltrate the residence and kill the family inside (basically, trigger a full recollection). Otherwise, the family inside will stay safe (forever in my brain waiting to be remembered). There, finally cleared up that one debt to you readers. Btw, (getting into self-promotion mode) I am able to metaphorize ANYTHING (given enough time).

3. QQ - My crush, simple as that =). The week before the March holidays I confessed after so many years =). Our relationship ship is like the Mashiro-Azuki pairing in Bakuman. Anyways also like Mashiro and Azuki, we communicate only via SMS. Mashiro proposed at 15, I wonder if I can do that. If there's one thing for sure, I lack Mashiro's courage. He just went straight up to Azu's house and said, "Will you marry me after we achieve our dreams?" That was the first time they talked! Even I was shocked! Bakuman is among my favorite manga, and I read a new chapter every Saturday (weekly scanlations). My favorite character is Nakai. You can't blame me liking a guy who actually drew manga in the harsh winter snow just to prove his devotion. I cried =).

4. gravure - Gravure idols are practically swimsuit models, except they pose way more provocatively. So actually you CAN'T be nude if you're doing gravure.

P. S. PTCs are disabled. Not fun anymore, especially due to the low number of participants.

Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap

Let's have a major recap, starting from ... the day after I posted Tis-n-Tat. By the way there is another new post under this one - it's posted earlier today.

Definition of last week: Torture, buffed with Tarukaja, Bravery, Heat Riser, Power Charge, Makakaja, Mind Charge and all that. The Geography project kept everyone staying up late (unconfirmed for all, but confirmed for me). It was frustrating, especially when your parents are inconsiderate enough to ask you NOT to do the work and doubt you about what you are doing on the computer. Well, according to my father, back in his days they don't do these things and they freaking don't need computers to do their work -.-" ... Yes, there are people like him in this diverse world. Whenever he asks me to go to sleep, my usual line is, "Hello, the teachers don't care about your health. You can have your work done and you at a point of extreme fatigue but the teachers will remain indifferent. But when you don't finish your work, brace yourself for incrimination." But of course, thankfully people like Mr Danny are considerate enough to allow me to sleep for a certain amount of time (I slept in his test for 30 minutes). This is what I consider real sleeping, not WCSD, due to the fact that I bear the need, the want to sleep. WCSD is automated, and its nature is more akin to that of rebooting than real sleeping. James, I hope you see the reason why now. Maybe for some reason you are able to get sufficient sleep, but I surely didn't, and I ain't the only one sleeping in class that week. Aight, boys?

On Wednesday there was an assembly. Mr Ling warned us about placing insults in your blogs. I'm safe from that warning, I guess. If there's really any form of insult in my blog, I'm sure I have apologized for them *nudge nudge*. As in foul language, I've never used anything further than 'damn' or 'dang'. I don't use dialect slangs like 'hao lien', 'kanasai' or 'sienz' because I don't think they are cool, but others think otherwise, duh. Most importantly, I don't use the f-word which Mr Lee frankly explained in his portion of the assembly. But I promised myself that should there be more anonymous warnings, I will delete the post where I insulted Mr Danny and Ms Connie. I mean, since those warnings are anonymous, I never know if they are directed towards me or not. Geez. One thing of note is that when Mr Lee went into that subject, he practically drove off Ms Voon Suan Ngo from her seat. I didn't observe the other teachers - Ms Voon was kinda close so a glance or two was fine for me. I didn't dare observe too long to avoid any eye contact with any of teachers. During that assembly I sat next to Sharon and Dawn, with Lester in front and Vincent at my back. I'm not very sure actually about who being sitting behind me, but I digress. Do correct me if it was someone else, those of you who noticed. On the teachers' side, Ms Voon was sitting with Mr Willie who sat with his left arm on the wall and right leg on left knee. Talking about that, let us sidetrack for a moment. Philemon (not really an official name) Kho Chik Sheng is a very funny guy. I just realized that despite mentioning his name a lot, I never really went into anything deeper about him. Unlike the other boys, his actions are kinda feminine, and that's not exactly a bad thing. Men don't have to be macho, strong or brave. That's gender discrimination according to Ms Lucilla by giving men a set of rules as to how they should act. I for one respect Philemon for who he is, and I think he gives himself identity. So whenever he's about to seat himself onto any seat other than when he's about to eat, he will place his right leg on his left knee, naturally in a flawless fluid motion. Well, I will mimic his movements in fast forward speed, then before my right leg reaches the left knee (in slow motion) I will retract, with the "Eh what am I doing?" expression. It still cracks up the Philjannes trio and the Wilsuron trio. Of course, the Philjannes trio will soon be reduced to the Aglemon duo *sniff* adieu, Janna-chan! Have a safe trip and remember to buy us souvenirs! Let us reunite with the 11/03 assembly. Ms Elaine was sitting along in one of the rows at the front and she gave out some of the prizes. Ms Voon took off her glasses during the f-word part. Time didn't give me any chance to observe the others. The prefects working as MCs that day were Yvonne-senpai as the senior and the junior being Magdalene-senpai. The former was a bit dreamy ... or not.

Phoenix: Is ...
Franziska: She ...
Judge: HIGH!? Bailiff!

Yes, she did sound like she was onto some dope. It's a bit ditzy, so I like it.

On Friday, we were issued our holiday work. For BM, we have a 1080-questions objective paper. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. Ms Wong gave us a pretty short worksheet on chapters 1 and 4 of 9th grade Science. One whole workbook for PK. By the end of the day, Jocelyn's Halibut is already Jessy's, Susan's chair got its name Kristoph and I realized that I had also named Daryl's chair earlier but forgot about it (it's Thalassa). During lunch I was with Yana-senpai in the Music Room. She left quite early (a prefect's travails ... ah, wonder if I'll get to experience it), leaving her stationery behind. So, I took the initiative to skim through her Biology reference book. Complex. Too complex. I don't even want to think about it. And I thought I will love Biology. I wonder now. Friday was also the release date of Resident Evil 5 for the PS3 and XBox 360 - I'm so jealous of those who own the said consoles. After the day's classes ended, I rushed for home, since I was leaving that night. I packed up fast. Let's go through what I brought. First off, I have this Camel sling pouch that I've been seen wearing during my outing to the Sarawak Museum weeks ago.

In it, I have Twilight for reading purposes, my NDS Lite for gaming purposes, my Apple earphones to be plugged into the DS and a packet of Kose oil films. Books are a must-have during travels, for those short moments of nothingness usually, like when you are at an eatery waiting for your food to be served or you're at a boutique waiting for the women to be done shopping. The time you have to wait is never predictable, thus books are perfect for burning through those moments since whenever the wait is finished, you can just slip in a bookmark and be off. The NDS Lite is also for moments like that, but I don't take it out if the noise is too excessive, because even my earphones cannot block out the noise from interfering with the game's sound. I recently got a new microchip for my R4 card - it holds up to 4 gigabytes, compared to the previous 2 gb chip it's way superior. The earphones' from my iPhone kit. The oil films are what James always asks from me. And whenever he does that there's bound to be someone else following suit and asking for oil films. The Twilight book is from the school library. I am the first to borrow it! Ms Lucilla personally bought it for the library in MPH. She sure likes going to MPH. I've seen her there last year but I didn't know whether I should greet her or not. It's not that I am disrespectful or anything, but usually I don't greet teachers who've never taught me before because it feels awkward and at times even teachers who teach me ignore my greetings so why should I bother with those who don't teach me? My DS's microphone is not functioning. Ugh. The owner of Game Boy Center at Hock Lee was at wits' end trying to fix it but failed, big time. I miss the microphone - without it, I can't use Twister or Street Jam psychs in TWEWY, play mini-games in Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, yell in the Ace Attorney series and extinguish the candle's flame in Feel The Magic: XY-XX. Concerning the DS, I used to never play games that require the usage of the stylus when I'm outdoors because I want to avoid damaging the stylus. Now I freely play such games, such as Time Hollow or Magical Starsign, because instead of my stylus, I use the nail of my right index finger.Yes, the touch screen ignores any form of normal physical touch with the hand but it is indeed as sensitive to fingernails as it is to styli. But if your nail is too sharp it may scratch the screen, so be careful. It is also recommended that you use fingernails instead of double styli when trying to solve the electric switchboard puzzle in Hotel Dusk: Room 215 because for me it didn't respond very well to two styli at once. Okay, next! (BTW, I place the sling pouch over my left shoulder, to my right) Over my right shoulder, to my left is the bag that contains my camera. I got it last week, because I complained to my father that my iPhone's camera lacks flash and thus it captures crappy pics when in dark areas. The following night I came home from school to find a shopping bag on the dining table with a tripod beside it -.- ... what about my Ps3!? My XBox 360!? That camera costs more than a freaking 2, ooo!Well, I'm not really sure what model it is, I know it's a Canon and it's an EOS.

I will stop here. I've typed so long then Blogger just deleted everything. Thankfully I saved the first quarter of this post already beforehand, and that's what above this paragraph. I hate you, Blogger. These things ... ALWAYS happen to me. Once I was writing a review for P3 on GFAQs then I accidentally deleted it. This is the one major disadvantage with typing. If you write it out, chances of losing your work is less. If you keep your documents in a computer or a laptop though, it's practically taking a great risk. Actually I could've just postponed this post so that I can complete it but I don't want to disappoint Alfred any longer. Or anyone else. If there is any.

We Close Our Eyes

As a tribute to my loyal regulars, I'm salvaging a miniscule amount of time to give a semi-update ... or, uh, more like a preview as to what I did during my vacation.

I went to the Taman Safari Indonesia. 2nd time there actually. Of course, the real post isn't this short. I just must inform you all, that when elephants pee, it's like a high pressure jet stream, and when they crap, the crap is golden brown and about 3/4 the size of my head. Aside from that, I also watched tons of movies while I'm here. Last night was 007: Quantum of Solace.

Ekozu

This is my first time blogging outside Malaysia! I'm sorry I wasn't able to update the past two days ... I was just having way too much fun! It's an awesome thing that my father isn't here, however he kept phoning my mother and pestering us, since Friday morning even before I departed. On the way to Kuching International Airport, he was shouting in the car over and over concerning stupid things as if we are all toddlers. For your information, I do not mind worrywarts. But I hate extreme worrywarts who go beyond the boundaries of worrying, into scolding instead. While in airports, he kept calling my mother as if she is as free as him when he goes travelling alone to find hookers. She has to take care of three of us (my sister, my maid and me), unlike him who can just relax and drool at women in airports. I'll go back to this topic in a later post.

Awhmaigawd last night I went to the Taman Anggrek (literally, "Orchid Garden") Mall where I bought more than 20 tankobons, at the very least, and they're worth RM 135 (minimum) back in Malaysia. My favorite bookstore chain in Jakarta, Gramedia, never fails to disappoint. Just let me tell you the one most pivotal thing to me in bookstores: tankobons come in complete sets, right from the first volume to the latest one available. Well, shopping for books wasn't the only thing I did last night, but whatever. The main point I want to convey is that given the number of manga and games at hand (added with the urge to shop till I drop and sightsee), I doubt I'll have enough enough time to bother about my blog much. At least, I'm finally free from the pressure that I have always felt since I started blogging - the pressure that I have to update regularly. So, um, just check back, like, um, once every 2 days? Until I'm finally on Malaysian grounds, that is on the 12th of December. For non-gaming readers, be well-assured that your salvation has finally arrived. My father has officially stated that video games are banned next year, since the absolutely unimportant PMR will be taking place. It is also annoying in the sense that it forces teachers and students to overwork themselves. 1 good example is the girls' Home Economy subject teacher, Ms Diana, who gives extra classes without bonus salary. At least, that's what I think, and I can't ascertain my personal opinions 100%. Anyways, that means that I won't be posting so much about games. However, I will not stop myself from updating myself with gaming news, of course.

This is the end of this ... fairly short update, I suppose.

Dead Finger Talks

I think I am blogging at school for the first time ever? Actually that's the only sentence I typed while in school. Then after that I just played Hangaroo co-op with Chilli and Vincent. The highest score we had was 4 wins in a row. Yeah, it was pretty tough. Phil helped out occasionally, while Mike shot us a stupid answer. On purpose or not, I don't care. So long as he had acted like Ranjeet from Mind You Language, I got mad I guess. How could he have not understood the gist of the question!? I was asking for Brunei's CAPITAL CITY, and he answered "Brunei Darulsalam". ○| ̄|_ ... ORZZZZZ!

I will be moving on to the second half of our field trip! Many exciting things happened! Dawn saw Victoria Beckham! I prefer Melanie Brown! I don't really like David Beckham! The speech man has a disturbing protrusion on his arm! Is Dawn a dumbass!? My iPhone's camera isn't very helpful with long-range shots! Daryl finally flapped his wings and flew! The cage nettings are so irritating
when snapping the beasties! There's a dead spider in the vending machine!? Nadia took away my coins!? I forgot to take a picture at the fountain-like structure near the entrance!? But I took one already eons ago! My red bean bun was squashed! Agnes enterred a dirty toilet! Chilli was angry I didn't take a photo of him!
Jocelyn likes posing Ah Lian-style!? Mike got stuck between a pillar and a stone seating!? OhmaigawdNOES! Is the trip heralding the world's end!? We are going to find out!

First off, I sat through a long journey from Borneo Springs while listening to 2C's people exchanging words. I guess they're a fun lot, compared to
2D which (IMHO) is comprised of mainly cold and steely people. Well, I did say that it's in my honest opinion. To me. And yeah, I do know a bunch of warm 2D people. But quite a lot of them treat me like an alien. So yeah, I'm not particularly fond of them. 2B and 2C are okay, mainly because I at least know a small number of people in the two respective classes. According to my dear class monitor, the teachers see 2D as the most well-behaved class. I don't think the cold and steely 2D people are reading my blog since I am too low-classed for their tastes, so I'll just type on. I can't say I exactly agree with the teachers. And I bet Ms Lim doesn't too. IIRC, no one in our class got called down into Mr Ling's office before. We also don't have any delinquents or even ex-delinquents. I mean, seriously, I ain't the only person agreeing on this matter. But I guess we just don't really stand out and we lack geniuses who can win so many contests and competitions that even I lost count. I feel pressured for no reason just being around the royalties of 2D. Well, I never really liked the popular people. I prefer socializing with the common folk.
*looks right* *looks left* Genius, I detest your stupid stare. I love Radiata Stories' Genius Weissheit and Tales of Symphonia's Genis, but not you, freaky bastard. I am so fed up with your I'm-so-fabulous-&-you're-not stare. I think we will be enemies if you go on like the way you are now.

So, let's resume with the main thing we have here, shall we? Anyways, our second (and last) destination was Matang Wildlife Center. It was my second time there and the experience jogged my memory of my first visit quite well. I tricked Dawn into believing that Victoria Beckham was there. She got pissed, the poor thing. So we started off with a long-winded briefing from one of the staff members. I felt irritated as Cammy didn't correct
his many flaws in English when he commits his supa-dupa strict and unreasonable corrections on us, poor innocent adolescents. I also pointed out a disturbing growth on the guy's forearm to Dawn and Seba ... which disgusted Seba till the point that he just has to take a picture of it. After the briefing (tell me if it was brief), we need to forsake our belongings at the mini-museum before heading off into the wild but I took my bottle and phone with me
nevertheless. Turned out I didn't drink at all. But whatever. Anyways, the trail was very insecure with one-sided railings and slippery footing. Coupled with my acrophobia, the intense humidity and constant warnings of potential leech assaults, yeah, it was a heck of a walk. I didn't even bother to stop to take nature pics. Me wearing shorts was quite a good thing as it would've been stuffy with trousers, or jeans (especially the latter). Maximum body ventilation is essential in damp rainforests. We saw quite a few animals, but for most parts of the trail we were focusing
more on not slipping rather than observing the mediocre number of fauna showcased. The only animal that we can see with ease without having to squint through the cages' cross-nettings was Doris, the orangutan as it was in an open-air confinement and we got a bird's-eye view of it. It was huge, and its visage was horribly grotesque. Next Phil and I had an exchange of name-calling to make sure the other incurs more of nature's grudge. Also, I saw the animal which I (randomly) did a research on for Science earlier this year - the leopard cat! Aww, it was a cute thing. Next to it was a dormant python, which was dull since I wanted to see it active. Daryl didn't actually fly (what did you expect?). He's no Harvey Birdman. He's a BimboLover who basically fell down the makeshift staircase in the jungle trail. After that Seba played cameraman for 2A group jumps. Fun, I guess, but I doubt he snapped my whole body since I was at the back.
Later we got back to the museum and everyone was trying to get their hands on a canned drink from the sole vending machine. I got a Grass Jelly drink. It had a dead spider on it. Anyways, I just nonchalantly washed it off and headed into the museum expecting a blast of air-conditioning. It wasn't exactly a blast, but sufficient I suppose. My sole comment: Years have passed yet nothing new? After that we just headed back even though our trip was estimated to last till 1 p.m., and only when I passed the fountain thingy then I remembered to take a picture there. Oh well, I doubt anyone else got the chance to do so anyway. After that, we took roughly 1 full hour to reach school. Home sweet home!

School was practically quiet and empty when we got back. I headed to class instead of the canteen to eat and I practiced throwing an empty plastic bottle at the clock which resulted in its destruction after being thrown at twice. Hey, it's not my fault. The thing itself has too low an endurance! Actually, yeah, it's my fault. The class was empty, so yeah, I went into another chain of deep thoughts and then headed downstairs to confirm something. After some investigation, turned out my idol really hasn't been coming to work these few days. Whoa, what a doting husband/father. I wonder if other (female) teachers' husbands go on leave with them too during their maternity leave period? It's rare I guess. I took a test on what is my conception of a perfect wife later. The result was "A perfect wife is someone who doesn't need anyone to make her happy, but needs you to make her feel complete." I guess I answered honestly? Taking up on Ms Siti's indirect advice, I guess I'll be hunting down books for charisma and fitness-building. IMO, to have your spouse's utmost confidence, charisma is quintessential. I don't want to retain the cowardly-character and be my wife's burden, truthfully speaking. Fine, I guess I'll just jump into water next time my instructor asks me to. If I can overcome that, I guess I can see myself as taking another step up the bravery chart? I prefer to be my future family's guardian instead of my future wife,
thank you very much. A real man has to have honor. And my idol does. So since I am setting him as a goal, I need to be able to achieve that level of charisma as Ms Siti said he does. I don't think I'll get the tattoos though Seba. That's just a tad bit too much. The coming holidays is the optimum period to stack up on both said aspects. GanbatteWiru-kun! So, later we went to the Lecture Theater for movie-viewing (Amazing Grace). But then the Form 1s just have to barge in, and then waste my time (I
don't think the rest of my classmates care, since they've never really delved into the matter of death so I guess time is nothing for them, yet) watching the first 10 minutes of the movie. Okay. So it's just 10 minutes. Right, calm down, take a deep breath, relax. We are watching Get Smart! Yay! It's so fantastic! I nearly died watching that annoyingly lame flick! It tried to be funny but turned out to be an epic fail. The plot was immensely cliched I really wanted to just sleep through the last two periods. And once again, we did not finish watching. This morning too. We were watching Nobody Knows (JPN) with 2C. All of a sudden the lights just turned on and my classmates were already fluttering out. I can't take this anymore. Hey, I'm just so sick of teens' impatience and their mere craving for action filled flicks with all the boom and the kabam and the krakaboom and the blast and the sex scenes and pregnancy of music. They don't even try to watch the movie and yet they try to comment on the movie by saying it's lame, boring, dull, plotwise-lacking when they don't know nothing. So, just because of your selfish personal tastes I am supposed to waste my time watching movies halfway-through!? I feel like beating the crap out of everyone. Amazing Grace is better than Get Smart. Even Johnny knows that. A tearfest is better than a failed clown. Hola, teens, Nobody Knows is an award-winning movie based on a true story. The kids got abandoned by their mother, the youngest died, the rest were malnutritioned. The real story is far worse. The eldest brought two friends back. One of them beat the youngest to death. In the movie, the youngest (I think it was Yuki or Shigeru) died of an accidental fall. Great, made me waste more time to download the movie and read through the real incident. Teens are impatient. Inconsiderate. Insensitive. Selfish. All four of these remarks exclude those who also thought they were better off not watching at all if the movie's going to be stopped halfway-through. If you think a movie has no plot, then you have NIL experience with movies because there is no movie without plot. As one given drama education before, I will just say that every drama/movie has Plot, Setting and Characters. It's all so basic I went orz. Wait till the movie picks up will you? For once we're actually not watching a
comedy/horror/action movie! I was so glad we got to watch a slice of life flick instead. And yet people
thought their rich posh lives were much more interesting than poor kids who have to defend themselves.
Wait for the movie to effin' pick up, pros. No one forced you all to watch. Just leave the scene in the first place. FYI, yeah it really got on my nerves by a lot, seriously.

White Night Imagination

Dururururu ~ Reporting from the Milky Way galaxy ... I present, Wilson the Magnifique! Okay, that
didn't rhyme. What about Wilson the Magnificent? I used to use that. Then Susan suggested Wilson Drinks Poison. I don't really like it. Though these rhythmic appellations are supposed to be more cynical, yeah. So I guess I'll take that. Then there's Susan No Reason, Agnes No Manners, Dawn Loves Shawn, ... and a multitude of the gist. I have an interest in naming. You want a good name, you want to ridicule others', feel free to look for me. My codename's 'Exalted Titlist'. Aye. My services come cheap ^.^ ... you can also have my services for free if you tell me the password, which is 'VJERN' ... it's what I named my Titlist in Phantom Brave. He sucks in combat. Well, Titlists aren't meant to pwn maps initially, so I guess it isn't surprising.

Today we had our field trip for year '08! The whole year, I've been planning to bring a fan for the field trip! But in the end, I forgot. Anyways, I reached school not knowing that we are supposed to wear trousers. So I went there with my usual Adidas shorts. Thankfully I wasn't the only one with shorts. Actually in the end I was quite grateful for not donning trousers or denim especially like what most of the others wore ... as roomy and airy shorts are better suited to the terrain features of our second destination in the field trip. I will further elaborate later when we get till that point. So, we were first exposed to Cammy's great big lie of the century - 2D wasn't the class that has to split up into different buses. It was ours. Bummer, Cammy. Is Lodge that stingy to not prepare a complete set of 4 buses? It wasn't exactly very fun being clamoured together with a bunch of people we hardly know. I got into 2C's bus, which at least isn't that bad I guess. I think they're funny, jolly people; contrary to Sharon's and Dawn's comments. The teachers in charge of our bus were Mr Jeff-Likes-Decaf and Ms Josephine-Looks-19. I sat with Derrick, who had no appetite that he didn't have anything the whole day. We
first headed for Borneo Springs which took us quite a long drive (the next one's just about as long). Finally our class reunited! So we were assigned our own guide who interpretted Phil as the entire class for the first half of the tour. The machinery were fun to watch I guess, but then again
I'm nowhere near the interests of Gailardia Gardios that I'd go gaga over mechs. Never. The insides of the factories/warehouses were drab and boring (duh) ... then Dawn tried holding onto me! That was very scary! ... I guess it's mainly because I'm a conservative person? Like Gailardia, yeah, I'm quite shy with the opposite sex. I'm not like Johnny who likes to mengusap-usap Jocelyn like a perverse old geezer. But then again they ARE in a relationship, so I guess there are no more barriers? Then of course since they aren't married yet there's a barrier for that. That. Yeah, that. Though Johnny-kun doesn't seem to have the hots for that kind of thing so I guess things'll be okay? So, we later got served with free 'fresh' water which tasted so stale I strained myself
to finish it just as an act of courtesy. I think tap water tastes better. Borneo Springs' toilet lacks a mirror big enough for camwhoring, IMO. I'm not vain, girls! It's just that I like copying the JJBA poses, that's all. So I agree with James' comment on me being a poser but I'm not ... vain. Ara. As proof, I don't even post those pics. Also in Borneo Springs, while resting Cammy tried hooking up on a foreign woman =) ... but got interrupted by a male staff later. I also spotted a picture of Chua Soi Lek-san in BS. There are 3 other politicians beside him, but I can only identify him. See, his
sex scandal made him so much more popular than he was before. IIRC there was this article in the New Straits Times by this guy who looks up to SoiSoi (the cutest I can craft out of his real name?) ... he said that SoiSoi was still capable even after the incident and is also slowly climbing up the ranks again. Or something like that. Anyways Malaysia is TOO conservative, IMO. People have their own privacy. SoiSoi did not reveal his affair on purpose. Is it a must for him to apologise/resign? The government is insensitive. Period. Anyways, yeah, he really is making himself more famous than ever than what happened, and it also occurred to me that he never struck me as notorious at all. Hmm. The continuation of this post's bound to be tomorrow.

p.s. To Mike: ABBA rocks! ... At least more than you do.

Bohemian Rhapsody

Wow, since no one bothered, I am taking 3 (three) contests off the title contests section, in order from earliest to avoid stretching the page. Answers are here, people-who-don't-even-try (most answers are VERY obvious from the hints ... I guess I am just hipper than my readers =.=):

1. 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' is a segmented song by Pink Floyd (which was the freaking hint) that plays over 13 minutes. Longest song I've ever heard so far. Worse of all was Sharon's answer, thinking it was connected to Wiri-sensei (Willie) and Jedo-sensei (Jade) when I kept telling her it's a wonderful song by Pink Floyd in school. Having a supportive friend is good, but you don't really feel that way if they have proven to be severely unattentive.

2. 'The Golden Experience' can be answered as either a song individually or an album by Prince (which was the hint >_>).

3. I'd admit, 'Cross Fire Hurricane' was a toughie. The hint given was 'Jumpin Jack Flash' ... it's a song by The Rolling Stones. Okay, so Cross Fire Hurricane is a line of the song's lyrics.

Actually, you can easily find all 3 answers through Wiki with much ease. Lazy dullards, you lot. I do appreciate Michael pitching in some effort to research, though he got them all the wrong way ... he thought I was asking about the HINT instead of the TITLE. Up till now, the sole winner has been Brenda. Who actually understands what to do. Boo to all those who got all frustrated and confused. Advice: Be street-wiser, onegai shimasu (please). Or less lazy. Or if my explanation on the contests was seriously a Gordian knot to you, do brush up on your English. It's all really simple, IIRC I didn't use my transcendental lingo and Brenda didn't even complain about it. And when she doesn't complain about something, it surely fits the average crowd. That clearly means you lot are ... well, whatever.

*kyu* ... My friends are all telling me that Wiri otou-san is a player. A pimp. Just because he played driver for two female teachers instead of the usual gung-ho men. Hrm, my idolization shall not sway. I believe he is loyal to his wife (unlike my father) ... how do I know that ... uh, telepathy :P. Then James and I discussed something about him that lead to me saying that he most likely have a feminine side. Well, not that I am dissing my idol, it's just that it's typical for Virgoes. And if Yana's information is bona fide, Daddy is a Virgo ... well, that's not too bad, I guess. Virgoes' quality points are ... ja-jang (with Nanako Doujima's voice!)! - hygienic! Conscientious! Et cetera! Anyway the part which drew my envy was that James arm-wrestled with him. Kuu. Whatever, what's so great about arm-wrestling!? I got so irritated I picked Chilli to arm-wrestle and for the first time ever I won against something other than the arm-wrestling machine over at the Pelita Arcade.

Damn. I told Mr Arthur I'd meet him after-school to pass up my thumbdrive and I discovered that he had already went home. gfefnfn24970@@$$^!#%$^%@. Well, HE violated the ... semi-promise, so if he said I was late to hand up then I'd sue him. Okay, maybe not. After all, I'm such
sweet, nice, little kid ... am I not? I even photostated the English exam papers' information sheet ... TWENTY-NINE freaking copies. Okay. So it's just RM 2.90. Still, proves my selflessness. I have to refuse Kemi-sensei's money tomorrow. Cos' ... my role model is Mr Willie. I'm sure he's as selfless and humble. I just know it.

Oh my, I have to study for tomorrow's exams. And now's already nearly 10. Gah. I could've cared less for exams, however I have a status to uphold in the eyes of my idol, and I've seriously got to kick Jessy off my initial position. I may be a tame little puppy, however showing mercy in the battlefield is just plain stupid, whether the enemy force is male or female.

I'm going for a 2-week vacation the moment time reaches November 15th's/16th's daybreak. To West Jakarta. Screw spending my precious time slaving around the dull city
of Kuching clinging onto the hope of having a chance encounter with my idol. I've totally given up, seriously. For once I'm giving myself priority to relax and enjoy myself. And don't for once think that PMR worries me. Blah. Blasphemy.

I Slacked Off Much?

Don't I? Especially since I did not post even on days like Friday or Saturday. Well, on school days there's plenty of work, and during the weekends, I read A LOT of manga (online) (free) - namely Double Arts and JoJo's
Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. Double Arts is a shortlived series with really neat art and interesting story. Sadly it did not receive much popularity among shonen
Jump readers in Japan so the series was discontinued. One can describe the ending as
open-ended, or a cliffhanger if they are more negative about it. My favorite character is Elraine/Elle/Ellie. I
think she's really cute, and has a likeable personality. I really like Elle's type of a heroine - unlike those tsundere ice queen bitches or super
perky tomboys.

Stone Ocean is the 6th arc in the entire JJBA series. The series now has a total of 7 arcs, with the mangaka (Hirohiko Araki-sensei) working on the 7th currently, Steel Ball Run. The arcs are:

1st - Phantom Blood
2nd - Battle Tendency
3rd - Stardust Crusaders
4th - Diamond Is Unbreakable
5th - Golden Wind
6th - Stone Ocean
7th - Steel Ball Run

Overall, this is how I would rank them:

#1 - Stardust Crusaders
#2 - Steel Ball Run
#3 - Stone Ocean
#4 - Diamond Is Unbreakable
#5 - Golden Wind
#6 - Battle Tendency
#7 - Phantom Blood

It's been quite long since I last read JJBA, and that was only the second tankobon of the 4th arc (DIU). So basically, I skipped Golden Wind straight to Stone Ocean. It doesn't really matter
much because there are really few links between SO and GW. I am currently resuming reading
DIU alongside SO (finished Double Arts already, and on a side-note, I also have finished 21st Century Boys).
After finishing DIU I plan to start reading GW since I already started playing the

game (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Ougon no Kaze) which is ... yes, in Japanese. They actually
thought about publishing it in English as well, however due to copyright problems and Araki not
intending to change the names of most Stands (which most were music references), so it was only released in Japan since copyright laws are pretty lax. I must complain that DIU scanlations
have pretty low quality ... ugh ... but I really have no other choice. Comics House in Malaysia is
pretty slow in releasing new JJBA tankobons (or more like I can't find them) ...

TotA!!! No, it's not a typo of the ... uh ... Dota, was it, Malaysian teens? TotA is the international
PS2 hit ... Tales of the Abyss. I used to not like it due to the really tough battle system and sole characters surviving boss fights. However, now I am as addicted to it as any other TotA player ...
I pretty much has more insight of how the battle system. The battle system is FR-LiMBS ...
short for Flex Range Linear Motion Battle System. I initially thought it wasn't much of an improvement from previous LiMBS, but I realized it really is something cool. No wonder Gaa
likes this game so much. Unlike her, I am not so addicted to Jade Curtiss though ... he may be
obnoxious, sarcastic and all (qualities of characters that I really like) but somehow I can't really
feel attached to him and as obsessed as I am with favorite characters from other games such as
P3's Ken Amada, P4's Kuma or Xenosaga's Jr. So I finally found my fav in TotA - Anise Tatlin.
What is more awesome than a really obnoxious, sarcastic, cute and witty little girl? Not to
mention I like to control her the most in battles - given her awesome versatility with her Artes.
She is also the only who can use Dark elemental Artes without the need of FOF (Field of Fonon)
Changes, and they are really awesome Fonic Artes - Negative Gate and Bloody Howling. Also,
she has a special accessory to dress her doll (Tokunaga) up as KOS-MOS from the Xenosaga trilogy! Comes with KOSy's personal Special Attack, X-BUSTER! I think I'm dying from fangasm. One last thing - I am NOT a pedo. I tend to prefer those child characters because they really are more awesome than adults.

I have been more active in reading my borrowed book, Tokyo Cancelled by Rana Dasgupta. It's
really enthralling, I must say. I will finish the book soon, since I am already at the 11th Story,
The Bargain in the Dungeon. Overall my fav is the 8th, The Doll. Even though I have yet to finish the book, Rana has already become one of my favorite authors alongside Jodi Picoult, Stephen King, Sophie King and Ellen Raskin. After Rana I just need one more fav male author to make it gender-equal! Gender-equal is always good ... no?

Since my last post I have also got demeritted for the first time. 10 merit points chucked off from my total (my homeroom teacher knows what). Oh well, as Wilson Liew's personal saying goes, "Merit points is just money for buying crimes at school." Anyway, 10 points for eating Fruit Mentos. The point here is, I am NOT like others who toss
sweet wrappers everywhere after eating, dammit. Oh well ,whatever.

Last night I tried out last year's PMR paper for Maths. I got a 96! So everyone, PMR standard is really low compared to our normals tests. No worries, you've all practically got an A in your grasp already.

This weekend I will go to the movies after replacement class with ShaSu (we will most likely
watch Accuracy of Death, even though I want to watch Mamma Mia!, which is a successful
musical in
the states. Added to the fact it has my fav actor, Pierce Brosnan in it (I still think Daniel Craig
shouldn't be 007. Nuggah.) ... and I am pretty impressed that Sharon actually suggest a JAPANESE movie.
She's always seemed to have the hots for Japanese stuff, you see, so it pretty much dumbfounded me. No matter, I'm ok with it.

So you must be wondering what happened to all the P4 stuff. I'm delaying it, see. Not like anyone in school
cares. Though there are those who do. Don't worry fellow gamers, I shall spoonfeed you

soon with your dose of hip n' retro Persona 4.

P. S. -es:

1. I may get to go travelling in November. Without my father. Iwish I can go travelling with
Daddy though (WL).

2. I added a dictionary on the left sidebar due to many complaints of my apparently god-level vocabulary. It's not, dammit. I don't even know what Dawn meant by frivolous. And William's got a couple of solid words which caught me off-guard.

3. I will also use Small font size instead of Smallest due to complaints. I wish everyone else too
has perfect eyesight ...

4. So isn't my blog user-friendly?

Ne, oyasumi nasai.

Ima wa chansu ... RANTO taimu ne ~

"This is a chance ... RANTING time", literally speaking.

I passed up my Maths exercise book to Ms Emily. then seconds after that she hurled me a question. "Wilson, you learn German is it?" O_O. What? Oh, then I realized that my book is titled "Maths KBSM 2 (Ver. Zwei)". Actually I just randomly pick up foreign languages. For German numbers, I just memorized Ein (1), Zwei (2), Drei (3), Vier (4), Fuhn (5) and Sechs (6), because
my first series of books (The Forsaken Land, working title actually) which will be my magnum
opus will be written in a ... hexalogy (I have no idea if the word exists, I only know there are heptalogies, so if it's a compound work of 6, must be HEXAlogy then). My first book, TFL Chapitre Ein is ... less than 10% done. Haha. Sorry, but life is SO hectic (don't lecture me that I don't know how truly hectic life is yet, I know, and I don't do what normal 8th graders do everyday anyway), I have little time to spare. Not that my idol will read thick English books. Why doesn't he teach ENGLISH!?

My pen-friend, Kayla is going to Japan after getting her Art Degree! Huzzahs, Gaa! I'm so envious. Japan. The Land Of The Rising Sun (after this is basically rantings of a child unable to get what he wants). Japan. The Land Of Paradise. Japan. The Land Of @#$%^. Everything. I swear, one day
I'll be standing on Nippon grounds. After I graduate from high school, I'll definitely apply to join a
Japanese class first. I'll have to resign from my part-time jobs then (which is the opposite of what people would do) - convenience store worker and
pub
waiter, because I'd have to use my Saturdays to write my books instead. I'm naturally business-blind, and my main forte is writing, so my career is pretty much certain now.

I now state that I LOATHE using blogs to flame things, people et cetera. However somehow I feel encouraged to write this, and I shall (nicely) conceal the names of the people involved.

I like clubs. I've felt school life outside Malaysia before, and clubs there are awesome. For a pretigious
elite school, Lodge really has to improvise on clubs. I am a member with position within a certain
club at school. I really like club activity. I have full devotion for it. It is not an athletic one (which
is all the hypes), however I like being in that club. Last week, I was given a look of our
performance grades. Everyone got an A. So it should be a good thing, isn't it? Unfortunately, it's
not so. Two certain members who also bear their individual positions in the club nearly NEVER attend club activities. When they do, they did nothing. Everyone else at least did SOMETHING. Somehow I feel it is a travesty of justice to give them As. How fair is it for us, the others? Clubs
may not seem like much, but teacher(s)-in-charge should at least be consistent and serious about it, not just scribble down undeserved grades for them.

Thanks for taking your time (it's precious) to read this. Hasta manana, mina.
