Ekozu

This is my first time blogging outside Malaysia! I'm sorry I wasn't able to update the past two days ... I was just having way too much fun! It's an awesome thing that my father isn't here, however he kept phoning my mother and pestering us, since Friday morning even before I departed. On the way to Kuching International Airport, he was shouting in the car over and over concerning stupid things as if we are all toddlers. For your information, I do not mind worrywarts. But I hate extreme worrywarts who go beyond the boundaries of worrying, into scolding instead. While in airports, he kept calling my mother as if she is as free as him when he goes travelling alone to find hookers. She has to take care of three of us (my sister, my maid and me), unlike him who can just relax and drool at women in airports. I'll go back to this topic in a later post.

Awhmaigawd last night I went to the Taman Anggrek (literally, "Orchid Garden") Mall where I bought more than 20 tankobons, at the very least, and they're worth RM 135 (minimum) back in Malaysia. My favorite bookstore chain in Jakarta, Gramedia, never fails to disappoint. Just let me tell you the one most pivotal thing to me in bookstores: tankobons come in complete sets, right from the first volume to the latest one available. Well, shopping for books wasn't the only thing I did last night, but whatever. The main point I want to convey is that given the number of manga and games at hand (added with the urge to shop till I drop and sightsee), I doubt I'll have enough enough time to bother about my blog much. At least, I'm finally free from the pressure that I have always felt since I started blogging - the pressure that I have to update regularly. So, um, just check back, like, um, once every 2 days? Until I'm finally on Malaysian grounds, that is on the 12th of December. For non-gaming readers, be well-assured that your salvation has finally arrived. My father has officially stated that video games are banned next year, since the absolutely unimportant PMR will be taking place. It is also annoying in the sense that it forces teachers and students to overwork themselves. 1 good example is the girls' Home Economy subject teacher, Ms Diana, who gives extra classes without bonus salary. At least, that's what I think, and I can't ascertain my personal opinions 100%. Anyways, that means that I won't be posting so much about games. However, I will not stop myself from updating myself with gaming news, of course.

This is the end of this ... fairly short update, I suppose.

Moody Blues

Yare yare daze (literally, something along the lines of either "My oh my" or "What a bother") ... I am so busy, I don't have any time to blog tonight. Okay, here's the buzz - I am packing up and preparing for my vacation. Now if you all really one an update, just wish that I won't be feeling lazy tomorrow when I arrive at my aunt's in Jakarta. Or else. As to make this post to at least have a little bit of content, I will of course type something. I am playing JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Ougon no Kaze (Golden Wind/Vento Aureo) (JPN) and I'm stuck in that last battle in Pompeii (is this how you spell it?) - Pannacotta Fugo (Stand: Purple Haze) VS Illuso (Stand: Man in the Mirror) due to the annoying reversed controls and lack of my Stand powers when battling on Fugo's side, as Illuso separated Fugo and Purple Haze. Also, I think Illuso's fairly broken, what with his supersonic kinfe tosses and Stand clutches. Grr. I also got two new fighting games (turns out, my copy of Mortal Kombat: Deception is defected) - Soul Calibur III and Bloody Roar 4. The former kicks ass, and my fav character is Maxi, since he is swift with moves and deals many hits with combos. When it comes to girls, I like Talim, Tira and Taki, the 3Ts. Talim is fast with her Wind Maneuvers (and when it comes to fighters, I go for the speedy characters), Tira is good with aerial combos and Taki just pwns. Of course, my Maxi is the best. and ever since watching TMNT when I was a kid, I have been harboring a distinct affection towards nunchakus. Bloody Roar isn't as good, but it's pretty worthwhile playing. Or so I think. I like playing as Nagi the most, obviously since she's hawt, her voice acting is above average, and she shows no mercy with her really long combos. IMO, Stun and Ryoho&Mana are the worst characters to use, mainly because Stun's moving at a snail's pace even when running, and Ryoho can't transform into a Beast. Yes, I know that Mana can transform when the Beast button's pressed, but she's hardly helping. Thankfully Ryoho can juggle. A bit. Ah, playing fighting games is just perfect to refine my fingers and hands, especially with slide inputs in SCIII. I bought Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 too (rhyme unintended), however it proved to be defective. Whatever. And yes, since it's the holidays, I think nearly every update will be tagged with 'games' instead of the usual 'school' ... that's for school days mostly.

Ciao!

Light Crossing Boder

This post will have separate emotions! So which one should I kick off with, the less serious stuff or the serious stuff? Hmm, personally, I'd go with the less serious stuff ... so let's start with that.

Yes, Jordan, Monster Lab is interestingly fun. I like the Tim Burton-esque overall design, and though the game tried to be corny, I actually didn't take it as lame. Monster Lab is an simulation/RPG/board game hybrid, and I can't say I don't love it. It's not truly addictive, however I find myself drawn to it. Basically, you collect ingredients (which are basically random materials) to create body parts, then assemble them up as you like to create a monster. Depending on the ingredients you use, the resulting product may be defective or enhanced with a special effect. Then you bring your monster to other places/dungeons where you move your monster in a board game-like fashion. By coming into contact with renegade monsters you can engage combat, and by finding things called Resource Locators you can commence a Challenge - a mini-game or sorts that can net you valuable ingredients should you succeed. Battles are simplistic, and sometimes too easy it may feel repetitive. Like in the PSX ARPG Vagrant Story, different attacks attack different body parts of the enemy. The main thing you must disable is the enemy's torso, but feel free to decapitate other parts to decrease the opponent's firepower. I currently have 2 monsters in hand, Sloth and Envy. I once had a Wrath, but I
discarded it since it has too low an energy capacity. Yes, I name my monsters after the 7 Great Sins, and I'll make sure Pride is godlike. Sloth and Envy has different statistics - the former focuses on defense and capacity, while the latter has higher speed and health. They are equal in strength though. Graphics are just fine, while in terms of sound, I guess the developer, Eidos Interactive, did their best. However, I do not like Dr Fuseless' voice acting. Ugh. In terms of replayability, I guess you may want to replay with different monsters in your arsenal, but there's pretty much no bonuses. I'll give the game 3/5.

Edbert, Chilli and I were playing on MSN Messenger! We were continuously disconnecting then reconnecting with usernames like Your Father, Your Mother et cetera. I sparked the whole thing when I saw how Edbert put his username as 'has just signed in' ... then I tried to have fun with the names. Sadly Edbert had to stop since he got scolded for doing so ... poor thing. The chain effect was funny, but I did expect more people to join in, despite the whole thing being fairly lame. Talking about Chilli, I have a personal message for him and hopefully he reads this: You were attacked by Dr Salvador (the chainsaw guy) while in the Village right? I found a way to miss him entirely. From my research, it turns out that Dr Salvador will appear if you take the Shotgun from the two-storey house. However, this afternoon I took the Shotgun after the villagers retreated (after
the church bell rang) and Dr Salvador didn't appear. Also, hopefully you have rescued the dog at the start of the game (before the Village) as it will help you out in a later boss fight (VS El Gigante). Damn, I am addicted to Resident Evil 4. Wait, since when is RE not addictive? Since new RPGs are scarce, I'm alternating to other genres for the time being, and you seriously have to love survival horror games.

Let's go on to the serious part now as there's only roughly 20 minutes till 11. I don't want others to think that I'm obsessedly trying to take up my idol as an adoptive father. So, I tried giving my father chances. Last night, I was about to take my bath when my mother insisted that she takes faster baths. So since I've shutted down my computer and I wouldn't want to be gaming for only 20 - 25 minutes, I grabbed my deck of Uno H2O (it's a limited waterproof edition with two special cards ... Wild Downpour & Wild Downpour +2 ... now you see that I go for anything water-themed?) and tried getting my maid to play with me, since it didn't seem like she's doing anything besides staring at the TV. I was in the middle of consecutively asking her when my father shouted, "Shut up, motherf***er!" in Hakka. Before that I actually asked him first to play with me but he preferred chatting with another woman instead of playing with me. Just now I was bored while waiting for my 7 p.m. soap opera to commence after a street badminton match (my shirt was drenched in perspiration), then I spotted my sister with my father on the wooden couch in the living room. So I thought that since my sister is there, maybe my father would stay to play? Instead, when I arrived, he immediately left to his computer for online gambling. I tried teaching my sis who's ailed with down syndrome how to play (it's pretty simple, Uno), but I failed. Last night since there wasn't anyone to play with and my sis was asleep, I resorted to playing against myself. Yeah, I know, it was a pathetic sight and my father still scoffed at me for doing so. Last night before I went to sleep, I just realized one thing after thinking thoroughly. Throughout my life, my father has provided me with the basic needs and minor wants, however, he has never played with me before. Yes, it struck me so deeply. I was like, "My father ... never played with me before? Not once?" the whole night. The thought was still lulling in my mind this morning. Then this afternoon I was standing in front of the fridge, tranced in thought. My father came along and strongly shoved me aside. I do not know whether I should keep letting him take advantage of me giving him chances. I once felt heartless to think badly about my own biological father. But now I think I'm going back on that opinion. I seriously ever felt stupid to think of Mr Willie as a father. But, uh, now, I dunno. I'm aghast. I play games, since you can play them alone. At times I may call my badminton mate over. I never feel bored during the holidays, but at the same time, I feel lonely. I don't have a brother or sister to talk to or play with. I know I ain't the only one
with a sibling who's afflicted by down syndrome. However others have their parents to fill in the empty slot siblings should occupy. I am never bored in the holidays. Never. I talk to in-game characters without response. I have inner monologues all the time. I can always talk with the other Wilson. But somehow, it's lonely. It's so cold and chilly, my world. My father only has time for his work, his friends and women. He just finances my education so I can support him when he's old. He just uses my mother as a tool. He sometimes come back from travelling with gifts. But that's just it. All he ever shows us is money. I don't think I've ever felt anything else. I know I wouldn't be blogging here if he never existed, however I can't bring myself to feel the least bit of love for him as children should. I don't know. I don't like the mere sight of him, ever. He has never smiled before (serious). Even when others take his picture, he can only show a mean frown. I love my THINGS more than him. I love my games. I love my books. I love my computer. It's his money, of course. Other people feel indebted to their parents. I try to, but it's tough. I do feel indebted to my mother, nevertheless. There's never a family time with my father. If he brings us travelling, he goes off doing his own stuff, e. g. gambling in Genting. I want to play games with my father. I want to watch TV with my father. You can't imagine how many things I want to do with my father. I do so dream to have my own happy family. However, things would never be the same. At that time, the father is ME. Conclusion: I am fated to never really feel the presence of a father or his love. So what if I can provide my future family with love? In the end, there's still this emptiness in me. I can't just patch it up and forget it. I could possibly be jealous of my own children later. In my house, the system has always been like this: my father's the owner of the house, and everyone else are just tenants. We do our own things.  He got me my PS2. He got me my computer. He got me my crappy laptop. He got me my iPhone. He got me my bookshelves. I feel happy with the things, but I needed to strain myself to feel grateful. I know I sound like the bad guy here. But I guess that's just how it always is between my father and me. Just material attempts of bonding. Maybe I will miss him when he dies. A lot. But I don't think I will cry. He's him.
I'm me. Always. I'll just miss the presence of him. I never mentioned my potential emotion.
My childhood. Is desolate.

I'm not really sleepy but I don't want to feel tired when I wake up tomorrow. Goodbye. And yes, it's past 11. I'm not so quick a typist I can type all that under 20 minutes. Currently, my father is into yet another blast of verbal abuse.

Somewhere On Fullerton

Ara - I have less than one hour! And I was playing games during the day too! So, uh, why am I left with so little time? Because - after gaming, I watched TV for 1 hour (Like Father, Like Daughter), then I spent time on the Internet reading others' blogs and researching more on Resident Evil 4! It's such a kewl game, kuma! I've played it before on someone else's console (forgot whose) and now that I heard even Chilli's playing it, I am oh so hyped up to own my own copy of it too! I think I'll resume playing Monster Hunter after a 2-year long hiatus ... Daryl needs a navigator. It's after 11 ... actually I could've blogged more but suddenly my father wanted to use the Microsoft Excel on my computer and he took 30 minutes ... so, um, yeah ... after the "Daryl needs a navigator" my father was handling the computer. Anyhow, gotta run! This must be the shortest post ever ...

Run For Your Life

This post is more like a notice rather than an update. Okay, the main thing here is: I was in Kuching during the day to retrieve my new 8GB Kingston pendrive from Sharon which she purchased for only RM48 and also shop for games. I netted myself 6, but in the end I still fail to find Dokapon Kingdom (ENG). There is the JPN version in Crown Plaza but since the ENG version is supposed to be out for purchase already I don't see the point of playing the JPN one. Persona 4 was a wholly different case ... it was a long wait between July 10 and December 9, so duh, I'd play the JPN version first since I really can't wait anymore - Master LL and the others are already playing it before I bought it. FYI, Master LL is one of the most famous gamers on YouTube who upload their gameplay vids. Gotta love the lot for sharing - since some of the games are those I may never get to play anytime soon, e.g. Eternal Sonata or Tales Of Vesperia. Anyways, I have nearly nil time to blog! TAR's coming up in a few minutes even though I've already found out about the results - *SPOILERS* Terence & Sarah are finally out! *SPOILERS END*. And to compensate for no gaming during the day, I will be gaming tonight. And since the photo-uploading will consume a lot of time, I don't think I can make it. Well, for those lazy to read long posts, feel free to take my vacation in Jakarta as a breather since I'd most likely only be able to post short updates since I will use up most, if not all, of the daytime for shopping and having fun in theme parks et cetera. Oh yeah, I hate shopping for clothes, but I never really did specify, yes? Pants/Trousers/Jeans/Shoes are so irritating, but when it comes to shirts, it's easy. Today I got two new shirts, courtesy of Esprit ... well, I never thought I would be buying shirts, but my sister bugged my mother to go to The Spring ... so yeah, at least I ain't buying books this time. Actually I still have quite a lot of books from MPH which are yet to be finished. About the shirts, one is white, the other black with shades of pink (...) and gray. I prefer the former for its sketchy design (me likey!). I also saw a few of those really old farts at Mango. They either do cross-dressing as a hobby or have wives who follow their tastes. IMO women prefer to shop for clothes with other women instead of men. Hmm ... interesting. My mother said they are buying clothes for their mistresses. Possible. A strategist never ignores any possibility unless given evidence that it is impossible to occur. All my sister wanted was a meal at Sushi King really, though I pressed on going to Food & Tea since it's more economical and I am taking a break from Japanese food. Anyway it seems the menu has been updated again with new food. I tried the Egg-Mayo. It has a miniscule amount of roe on it, and I guess that's okay ... too much roe bugs me sometimes. It's quite tasty ... I think it will become another one of my faves. The croquette's been there since opening day, but this is the first time it's actually in stock, so obviously I ordered it. It's quite good, but if only there's ketchup, it would be better. Sadly there's only wasabi and soy sauce available. I tried the Oyako-don (IIRC) which was AWFUL. Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT even think about trying it. In case you will be going to Sushi King in the future, thank me for being your voluntary lab rat.

What games did I buy? Well ... um ... let's start with the three games I am greatly anticipating to try out:
Resident Evil 4
Monster Lab
Yakuza (yes, I actually played the sequel first)
I saw a bunch of sleazy boys looking at both of the Yakuza games at Crown Plaza. They were like, "What's so great about this? Got tattoo only nia." Oh my, that must be my first line of broken English in my blog. Anyway, I can't stand these lousy low-rate gamers who just diss a game without knowing anything. Okay, even if the game is bad, realistically
speaking, I doubt
those jerks would actually get themselves a tattoo as elaborate as Kazuma's (the box art shows his back's elaborate tattoo). Hmm. The other half of the games I bought are merely for multiplayer purposes:
Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity
Mortal Kombat: Deception
Need For Speed: Most Wanted
Oh my, Most Wanted is my first NFS game, and I rarely play racing games, so pitch in any tips if you can! I just hope my buddy will like it. I have nearly no interest in it ... but whatever, I'll give it a try. These days we've started on One Piece: Grand Adventure again ... thankfully our skills didn't deteriorate much. We played Tournament Mode 3 times ... with me being reigning champion. I still remember the finals!
1st Tourney: Mihawk (Me) VS Shanks (Him)
2nd Tourney: Kuina (Me) VS Usopp (CPU) (My friend's Chopper was beaten by this Usopp)
3rd Tourney: Ace (Me and I won't use the ENG dub's name for Ace) VS Zoro (Him and I won't use Zoro's ENG dub name either)
OP: GA is my favorite anime-based fighting game. It's just awesome. Wait, since when is anything not connected to One Piece ISN'T awesome? According to the recent Oricon charts on manga, the highest rated manga is One Piece, not Naruto. Naruto isn't even in the Top 10. That's reality. Naruto is rubbish. But at the same time, my beloved JJBA isn't on the list either! Well, at least it doesn't mean that it's worse than Naruto. Phew.

p. s. My flight has been altered from the 20th to the 21st!

Debate Magician

About 2 weeks ago, I burned yet another music CD. I put the songs in my thumbdrive and brought it too school. It got mixed responses! Tracks, in order:

[#1] Aretha Franklin - Mr Big Stuff
[#2] Black Kids - Listen To Your Body Tonight
[#3] Britney Spears - Piece Of Me
[#4] Cat Power - Willie
[#5] David Archuleta - Crush
[#6] DJ Tiesto - Insomnia
[#7] Jack Johnson - Better Together
[#8] Kate Nash - Pumpkin Soup
[#9] Katy Perry - Hot N Cold
[#10] Mariah Carey - Touch My Body
[#11] Rilo Kiley - Breakin' Up
[#12] Rilo Kiley - Bulletproof
[#13] Rilo Kiley - Dreamworld
[#14] Rilo Kiley - Silver Lining
[#15] Rilo Kiley - Under The Blacklight
[#16] Sara Bareilles - Love Song
[#17] The Ting Tings - Great DJ
[#18] The Ting Tings - Shut Up And Let Me Go
[#19] The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name

In my thumbdrive I have extra 3 songs to boot:

[#20] Estrella - Stay
[#21] Tommy February6 - Lonely In Gorgeous
[#22] Westlife - Flying Without Wings (obtained from Agnes during Computer Class)

I excluded #1 from the thumbdrive lot as it isn't very nice IMO after listening a few times. No one made comments about #2, they don't even bother to finish listening to it. I admit the starting was a bit cheesy, but the part when the song really shines is during the "Alright Hello?" part near the end. I like #3 ... I mean, who doesn't? #4 is really tough to sing along, so I tend to skip it. Not going to comment on #5, I think people are too crazy over it. It's okay at first, but is the fastest to lose its appeal. #6 is just cool. Jack and a few other boys like #7. Nadia likes #8. Phil is nuts with #9. Vincent sings along to #10 with me. My mother likes #13 and #17 best. Kyc and I love #14. #16 is the one I crave to sing the most, and the only one Agnes showed interest in. Nadia, Dawn, Brandon and I are Ting Tings fans, so we like #17, #18 and #19. Jessy and a boy (I think it was Michael) clearly showed their dislike for #19 though. Everyone likes #20 (or so I think). Michael and Sharon picked #21, which is Paradise Kiss' opening theme actually. #22 is nice listening to. Those not mentioned are not mentioned by anyone at all. Overall, I rate this CD 4/5. This paragraph is dedicated to music, so let me start on the movie Mamma Mia's soundtrack. I think the songs are lovely, even those sang by the men as they're unique in a way. Out of the guys, I think Dominic Cooper sings best, while Colin Firth's worst (according to critics Pierce Brosnan's worst, but I just happen to despise Firth's singing more). Stellan Skarsgard isn't bad, but Cooper just aced the guys. For the girls, Amanda Seyfried was quite high-pitched most of the time, but Meryl Streep was just flawless. The movie itself isn't bad, but sadly I didn't finish watching it. Ooh, we are moving onto movies! The last movie we watched at school was Freaky Friday, which gratefully was finished since we watched it for 3 periods instead of the usual 2. Only after listening to Simple Plan's Happy Together from the movie did I realize that Romancing Saga: Minstrel Song's main theme is based on the song's tune, just softened! I prefer RS: MS's version though, it's more enchanting and Simple Plan pitched in too many unnecessary strums.

Did you know? The whole day I've been planning to make this one update to contain photos. Pictures date back to Lions' Nursing Home food sale (or maybe older) till the last school day. Sadly, it's 11. Maybe tomorrow. Hopefully I start blogging early.

I am so obsessed with Namco X Capcom. JPN games pwn, 'nuff said.

p.s. If you are scared of teachers reading your blogs, I suggest using smaller font sizes as most of them needs to squint at their age. But be prepared to make your blog seem more lacking in content, though it isn't in reality.

Even A Dog Wouldn't Eat This

I could've blogged more last night but a blackout occured at about 12 midnight. I think the last thing I typed about was concerning swimming. Oh yeah, the blister on my toe. I think my toe hit the tiles on the poolside several times as I jumped into water. Either that inflicted the blister or me climbing up to the poolside, which takes quite a lot of effort since I'm heavy. Swimming was a painful ordeal last night, and thankfully it's the last for this entire year. Next year, I'm finally having 1-hour classes instead of the usual 2-hour, since I'll be having a Maths tuition directly after it next year. Damn, I really dislike going to Maths tuition. It's so quiet since the students alienate themselves from each other, and Maths is such a dull subject I usually end up asleep, forcing me to take a Red Bull or a Livita before tuition. I really don't see how I would have the strength to go to tuition after the strainous swimming class next year. Blame the tuition teacher, who intends to switch the class from Wednesday to Friday. Ugh. Do I still have to take Maths tuition after 9th grade? Hopefully not, as that'll really wear me down.

Yesterday I went for a shopping craze before swimming. After school ended, I had to wait 1 hour for my car to arrive, but thankfully there was Jack and William to play the 2-player game, Table Tennis For 2 on my iPhone with me. It was fun, applying the concept of gravity into table tennis! However both of them left
earlier than me, but thankfully the wait after that wasn't too long. I guess. After changing with the clothes my mother brought, I went to The Spring. I needed to shop for a pair of sports shoes and
trousers, self-help books and James' dad's jacket. I tried out Parkson and Nike for the sports equipment. Found none. Ah, I guess I'l just use my school shoes, and later on my mum told me she has called my father over in Hong Kong to get me the trousers, which he accomplished. Okay, he bought me something I want. So what, it won't be enough to redeem himself.  I checked out MPH for the self-help books ... I was actually looking for just two, one to
build charisma and another to build fitness. While browsing the sea of books I met Jesmond-kun from 2D and Eon-chan from 2B. Am I fated to only stumble into aliens (as in people I don't know), instead of those I know or want to meet? After looking through a lot of books (by that, I mean seriously lots of them) in both
BM and English, I finally found the book Fitness For Men. Actually I found another book earlier than that one, which is one similar to building charisma ... it is to help people understand and overcome their phobias. How my brain perceived the entire thing: Overcome phobias = more courageous = more charisma. I haven't really overcome any of my many phobias yet, but I did do diving without hesitation later that day. I guess it was the cause of my two main motivations *cough * Willie and QQ *cough *. Partly for myself, duh. After that I went to F.O.S. to look for the jacket as James
himself recommended. That was the first time I've been there, and wow, for once, I enjoy shopping for clothes. There, everything came moderately cheap and doesn't fall into the LQ category. I think I 'll buy jackets from there starting now onwards. I really wanted the jacket I bought for James' dad. It was big! Comfortable! Cozy! Classy! Casual! Soft! It's a white Nautica jacket ... from what I felt I think the fabric's either wool or cotton. I really want a wool sweater like Ken's which is plain with cream and orange dabs. But then again my body's too big to look like Ken's lean-cut figure. Wait, he IS just an 8-years-old kid. Isn't he? Correct me if I'm wrong, Eugene. Ken joining SEES was way back then, in December '07. And I think that was the only time his age was mentioned. Or so I think. I went to Food & Tea for lunch though my mother insisted on the food court. I don't really like the food court - it's noisy, crowded and unpractical IMO. On my way to the avant garde kopitiam, I saw Danielle Basiuk-senpai on her phone. I just hurriedly walk past. Talking about her, there was a scene concerning her dad which Sharon and I poked fun at. During the assembly in the morning, when Ms Vivian (is it Vivian?) called out for Ms Anne to give out the prizes to the primary kids, she was still on her couch with her right leg on top of the other like some S&M queen flirting with the married man beside her (as Sharon said, which I agreed), Mr Robert Wayne Basiuk. That was the first time my Hawkeyes didn't recognise a person, it was Sharon who told me that it WAS Mr Basiuk. So basically, Ms Anne was some whore who needed people to summon her several times on MICROPHONE to actually respond, possibly because Ms Vivian is a teacher and the former looks down on the latter and prefers to spend more time with a Eurasian (correct me if I'm wrong) stud. Either that or she was attacked by MiuMiu's (Miulla Miuchar in full) Stand, Jailhouse Rock which can make people
only able to remember 3 things at a time, rendering Ms Anne to forget her own name. Then again, her sense of hearing may have been severely rusted. Aww, that's so sad. That's enough for the usual side-subject. I really like Food & Tea's plethora of food. I had diced chicken in creamy mayonaise
(it's the only unhealthy food I can't stop myself from eating) with rice ... that dish came with free soup and dessert. But I still ordered ala carte dessert - Mango & Yam Tong Sui (literally, "Sugar Water"). The mango part wasn't very good. Next time I better just have the Yam one, though it's pricier. I had a fruit cocktail as my drink - it's called Purple Rain, and IMO I think it's either blackcurrant or grape. This time round, I spent less than the previous experience. I think it was only RM30 this time instead of RM32. Anyhow, Dawn's group spent more, around RM90 IIRC. But her group does have more people. After The Spring was Tun Jugah time! I obviously sped for Hong Kuok 99
(games! GAMES!!!) while my mother went to a boutique directly underneath the game store (Sui Sian ... "Water Fairy/Deity/Whatever"). The 2B group was there, but I only remember Joshua and Kolly among them. I bought 4 games: Namco X Capcom (JPN), JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood (JPN), Wild Arms: Alter Code F and a party game based on Shrek. Also, I've got SILENT HILL 2. HarharharharharharhartakethatJordanTeng ... *chokes * * cough * ... I think one of the 2B boys bought a PSP game. There was SMT: Raidou Kuzunoha VS Abaddon Tai-Ou (JPN) already but I didn't purchase it due to the crappy cover, even though I am now ok with JPN games. Today since I can game already, the two JPN games I bought were way stellar compared to the English two which were quite lame (okay, not WA: ACF). WA: ACF just felt repetitive and the graphics were clunky. I wanted to get RE4 this time. Unfortunately, the shop's out of RE4. I even read many guides about the game the night before. Never mind, I'll just try out other stores. I can't find Dokapon Kingdom and Monster Lab, despite the fact that they are supposed to be released more than a month ago. Namco X Capcom was fast-paced and engaging, while JJBA: PB was just being JJBA and it provided tons of fan-service! My love for JJBA is as deep as the girls' craving for Twilight. IMHO Twilight is fairly normal and isn't worth the overrating, no offence to the worshippers. Or maybe it's just me being a boy. Wait, it could be that part of me who isn't really fond of teen romance ... I go for the daddy-mommy romances. At Tun Jugah while texting I also saw 4 boys from assorted classes ... I only remember Kyc and Vernon. Concerning Hong Kuok 99, there was a new staff I haven't seen before yesterday. He kept wheezing and sniffing I really disliked standing there while browsing games. After I've confirmed the games, he just fanned out the games on the counter. I was O_O for a while, then he asked me if I need a plastic to which I answered yes. He took out a small plastic bag and slapped it on the counter. I tried to 'inflate' it but before I was done, the cashier which was one I know and commonly chatted with, finally asked the new guy why he didn't put the games in for me. Seriously, that's one horrible worker. Where's the staff supervisor? Where's the guy's common sense? After TJ was Hock Lee where I finally caught up with Dawn's crew. But rather than being with them I went for the arcade alone. It was fun, but later I realized I was late for class. Oops. Only after swimming did I deliver the jacket to James' house. Wow ... it's huge. The house, not the jacket.

Operation SNANTI is currently progressing smoothly. Gotta resume on my book now before it's 11.

Jenny, You're Barely Alive

Last night I initially intended to update, however since today is the last day of school for the year 2008, I needed to finish both Jocelyn's and Kyc's DVDs last night so that I can return them today. The DVDs are Money No Enough and Money No Enough II respectively. I ain't exactly sure which one's better. There was an obscenely happy moment for me (learned to apply 'obscenely' on 'happy' from Dawn) in the latter movie though. It was when Stella, the bitchy bitch, flew out of a car and slammed into the asphalt. That was like, the most effin' awesome thing to happen in the entire movie! I was so sick of her, I wished I was in the set so I could've just slapped her or something. I tried to cry, but oops, I failed to do so for both movies. Not bad, I'd rate both 3.5/5. I want to watch High School Musical 3: Senior Year and Quantum of Solace. If possible, I would like to watch the Thai flick, The Coffin as well but I think it would no longer be in the local cinemas, since it's quite old now. I also wish I can watch The Amazing Race 13 while in Jakarta later in the holidays since I'll be there for like, 2 weeks and I'm not even sure if TAR is broadcasted in Indonesian channels. Anyways, I hope karma will take its toll on Nick & Starr soon enough ... but from the looks of the current situation it seems that getting into the Final 3 is nothing for them. My prediction is that the Final 3 will consist of Ken & Tina, Toni & Dallas and Nick & Starr. Hopefully Terence &
Sarah loses to the Greene team (K&T). Dandrew is hopeless to be in the last two episodes IMO. And even if they DO get into the Final 3, I doubt they would've won.

So, uh, the school year for 2008 finally ended? Whee - hopefully next year will be faster ... wait, it WILL be, since IIRC it's only till September, right? Man, I seriously can't wait for 10th grade! But if my BM teacher isn't him then I guess things will be as normal as usual. Aside from the new classmates, that is. I seriously wish that I don't get into the same class with Mr Genius ... he'll just overshadow everyone else effortlessly. Hmm, do teachers only prefer the smartest people?
I'm not very sure about this but it seems like the mode. Will teachers not alienate you if you are dumb but have a nice personality? Hopefully. As I said, I ain't too sure, because in the eyes of the average adult these days, academics is the only factor to scale a teen. Anyways, the holidays finally arrived. This is my schedule:
Early morning - Morning jog
Afternoon - Gaming
Evening - Badminton
Night - Blogging and writing my book
Rules for myself:
- Sleep at 11
- No eating between meals
- Absolutely no junk food
- No bread, Kyc said bread contains the most carbs
- The jog must be circling the housing district (2 km) 8 times at the very least.
- Indoor badminton only when it's raining
Yes, I've prepared a special program for myself - the SNANTI program. Hopefully I can obey my own rules. I think the schedule will be broken when I go to Kuching or Jakarta though.

This year has been very fun. Minus the part when Phil beat me. And also the majority of swimming classes I've had. I like 2A. We aren't as united as 2C (I know there's plenty of hate-hate going on in my class silently). We aren't as elite as 2D
(though I think of ourselves as elite). We aren't as ... 2B-ish as 2B. I think I've grown a lot. Yes, a lot. This is also the year when I started idolizing Mr Willie. I must give the credits to my father though, he abandoned my family during the period of April till August. Thanks, father! This is the first time I've ever thanked you, so you better appreciate it. This year, I've uncovered much more social links,
like Kevin, Narancia, William, Eugene, Jordan (see, mum, I have male friends too). I think they're a fun lot. I've even rekindled with past enemies. And a lot more stuff! I won't be attending the Farewell Party this Sunday though. I like covering as many events that I can have access too, but preferrably not parties. I don't do well with parties as most of the time I just sit like a rock in one corner and not know the strangers in the crowd. It's not like my entire class is going either. I heard that most of the party-goers are 2Dians, so I better not go. I'll leave the party for other more active and sociable bloggers to handle. However, I will hereby say my farewells to Seba. Wait, I still see him in January.
Okay, I guess he will be staying with us longer than the others who are leaving. Not like I know whoever else's moving. 'kay, actually I do. But I don't really care.

Damn, I got a blister from swimming (diving, to be specific).

Dead Finger Talks

I think I am blogging at school for the first time ever? Actually that's the only sentence I typed while in school. Then after that I just played Hangaroo co-op with Chilli and Vincent. The highest score we had was 4 wins in a row. Yeah, it was pretty tough. Phil helped out occasionally, while Mike shot us a stupid answer. On purpose or not, I don't care. So long as he had acted like Ranjeet from Mind You Language, I got mad I guess. How could he have not understood the gist of the question!? I was asking for Brunei's CAPITAL CITY, and he answered "Brunei Darulsalam". ○| ̄|_ ... ORZZZZZ!

I will be moving on to the second half of our field trip! Many exciting things happened! Dawn saw Victoria Beckham! I prefer Melanie Brown! I don't really like David Beckham! The speech man has a disturbing protrusion on his arm! Is Dawn a dumbass!? My iPhone's camera isn't very helpful with long-range shots! Daryl finally flapped his wings and flew! The cage nettings are so irritating
when snapping the beasties! There's a dead spider in the vending machine!? Nadia took away my coins!? I forgot to take a picture at the fountain-like structure near the entrance!? But I took one already eons ago! My red bean bun was squashed! Agnes enterred a dirty toilet! Chilli was angry I didn't take a photo of him!
Jocelyn likes posing Ah Lian-style!? Mike got stuck between a pillar and a stone seating!? OhmaigawdNOES! Is the trip heralding the world's end!? We are going to find out!

First off, I sat through a long journey from Borneo Springs while listening to 2C's people exchanging words. I guess they're a fun lot, compared to
2D which (IMHO) is comprised of mainly cold and steely people. Well, I did say that it's in my honest opinion. To me. And yeah, I do know a bunch of warm 2D people. But quite a lot of them treat me like an alien. So yeah, I'm not particularly fond of them. 2B and 2C are okay, mainly because I at least know a small number of people in the two respective classes. According to my dear class monitor, the teachers see 2D as the most well-behaved class. I don't think the cold and steely 2D people are reading my blog since I am too low-classed for their tastes, so I'll just type on. I can't say I exactly agree with the teachers. And I bet Ms Lim doesn't too. IIRC, no one in our class got called down into Mr Ling's office before. We also don't have any delinquents or even ex-delinquents. I mean, seriously, I ain't the only person agreeing on this matter. But I guess we just don't really stand out and we lack geniuses who can win so many contests and competitions that even I lost count. I feel pressured for no reason just being around the royalties of 2D. Well, I never really liked the popular people. I prefer socializing with the common folk.
*looks right* *looks left* Genius, I detest your stupid stare. I love Radiata Stories' Genius Weissheit and Tales of Symphonia's Genis, but not you, freaky bastard. I am so fed up with your I'm-so-fabulous-&-you're-not stare. I think we will be enemies if you go on like the way you are now.

So, let's resume with the main thing we have here, shall we? Anyways, our second (and last) destination was Matang Wildlife Center. It was my second time there and the experience jogged my memory of my first visit quite well. I tricked Dawn into believing that Victoria Beckham was there. She got pissed, the poor thing. So we started off with a long-winded briefing from one of the staff members. I felt irritated as Cammy didn't correct
his many flaws in English when he commits his supa-dupa strict and unreasonable corrections on us, poor innocent adolescents. I also pointed out a disturbing growth on the guy's forearm to Dawn and Seba ... which disgusted Seba till the point that he just has to take a picture of it. After the briefing (tell me if it was brief), we need to forsake our belongings at the mini-museum before heading off into the wild but I took my bottle and phone with me
nevertheless. Turned out I didn't drink at all. But whatever. Anyways, the trail was very insecure with one-sided railings and slippery footing. Coupled with my acrophobia, the intense humidity and constant warnings of potential leech assaults, yeah, it was a heck of a walk. I didn't even bother to stop to take nature pics. Me wearing shorts was quite a good thing as it would've been stuffy with trousers, or jeans (especially the latter). Maximum body ventilation is essential in damp rainforests. We saw quite a few animals, but for most parts of the trail we were focusing
more on not slipping rather than observing the mediocre number of fauna showcased. The only animal that we can see with ease without having to squint through the cages' cross-nettings was Doris, the orangutan as it was in an open-air confinement and we got a bird's-eye view of it. It was huge, and its visage was horribly grotesque. Next Phil and I had an exchange of name-calling to make sure the other incurs more of nature's grudge. Also, I saw the animal which I (randomly) did a research on for Science earlier this year - the leopard cat! Aww, it was a cute thing. Next to it was a dormant python, which was dull since I wanted to see it active. Daryl didn't actually fly (what did you expect?). He's no Harvey Birdman. He's a BimboLover who basically fell down the makeshift staircase in the jungle trail. After that Seba played cameraman for 2A group jumps. Fun, I guess, but I doubt he snapped my whole body since I was at the back.
Later we got back to the museum and everyone was trying to get their hands on a canned drink from the sole vending machine. I got a Grass Jelly drink. It had a dead spider on it. Anyways, I just nonchalantly washed it off and headed into the museum expecting a blast of air-conditioning. It wasn't exactly a blast, but sufficient I suppose. My sole comment: Years have passed yet nothing new? After that we just headed back even though our trip was estimated to last till 1 p.m., and only when I passed the fountain thingy then I remembered to take a picture there. Oh well, I doubt anyone else got the chance to do so anyway. After that, we took roughly 1 full hour to reach school. Home sweet home!

School was practically quiet and empty when we got back. I headed to class instead of the canteen to eat and I practiced throwing an empty plastic bottle at the clock which resulted in its destruction after being thrown at twice. Hey, it's not my fault. The thing itself has too low an endurance! Actually, yeah, it's my fault. The class was empty, so yeah, I went into another chain of deep thoughts and then headed downstairs to confirm something. After some investigation, turned out my idol really hasn't been coming to work these few days. Whoa, what a doting husband/father. I wonder if other (female) teachers' husbands go on leave with them too during their maternity leave period? It's rare I guess. I took a test on what is my conception of a perfect wife later. The result was "A perfect wife is someone who doesn't need anyone to make her happy, but needs you to make her feel complete." I guess I answered honestly? Taking up on Ms Siti's indirect advice, I guess I'll be hunting down books for charisma and fitness-building. IMO, to have your spouse's utmost confidence, charisma is quintessential. I don't want to retain the cowardly-character and be my wife's burden, truthfully speaking. Fine, I guess I'll just jump into water next time my instructor asks me to. If I can overcome that, I guess I can see myself as taking another step up the bravery chart? I prefer to be my future family's guardian instead of my future wife,
thank you very much. A real man has to have honor. And my idol does. So since I am setting him as a goal, I need to be able to achieve that level of charisma as Ms Siti said he does. I don't think I'll get the tattoos though Seba. That's just a tad bit too much. The coming holidays is the optimum period to stack up on both said aspects. GanbatteWiru-kun! So, later we went to the Lecture Theater for movie-viewing (Amazing Grace). But then the Form 1s just have to barge in, and then waste my time (I
don't think the rest of my classmates care, since they've never really delved into the matter of death so I guess time is nothing for them, yet) watching the first 10 minutes of the movie. Okay. So it's just 10 minutes. Right, calm down, take a deep breath, relax. We are watching Get Smart! Yay! It's so fantastic! I nearly died watching that annoyingly lame flick! It tried to be funny but turned out to be an epic fail. The plot was immensely cliched I really wanted to just sleep through the last two periods. And once again, we did not finish watching. This morning too. We were watching Nobody Knows (JPN) with 2C. All of a sudden the lights just turned on and my classmates were already fluttering out. I can't take this anymore. Hey, I'm just so sick of teens' impatience and their mere craving for action filled flicks with all the boom and the kabam and the krakaboom and the blast and the sex scenes and pregnancy of music. They don't even try to watch the movie and yet they try to comment on the movie by saying it's lame, boring, dull, plotwise-lacking when they don't know nothing. So, just because of your selfish personal tastes I am supposed to waste my time watching movies halfway-through!? I feel like beating the crap out of everyone. Amazing Grace is better than Get Smart. Even Johnny knows that. A tearfest is better than a failed clown. Hola, teens, Nobody Knows is an award-winning movie based on a true story. The kids got abandoned by their mother, the youngest died, the rest were malnutritioned. The real story is far worse. The eldest brought two friends back. One of them beat the youngest to death. In the movie, the youngest (I think it was Yuki or Shigeru) died of an accidental fall. Great, made me waste more time to download the movie and read through the real incident. Teens are impatient. Inconsiderate. Insensitive. Selfish. All four of these remarks exclude those who also thought they were better off not watching at all if the movie's going to be stopped halfway-through. If you think a movie has no plot, then you have NIL experience with movies because there is no movie without plot. As one given drama education before, I will just say that every drama/movie has Plot, Setting and Characters. It's all so basic I went orz. Wait till the movie picks up will you? For once we're actually not watching a
comedy/horror/action movie! I was so glad we got to watch a slice of life flick instead. And yet people
thought their rich posh lives were much more interesting than poor kids who have to defend themselves.
Wait for the movie to effin' pick up, pros. No one forced you all to watch. Just leave the scene in the first place. FYI, yeah it really got on my nerves by a lot, seriously.

White Night Imagination

Dururururu ~ Reporting from the Milky Way galaxy ... I present, Wilson the Magnifique! Okay, that
didn't rhyme. What about Wilson the Magnificent? I used to use that. Then Susan suggested Wilson Drinks Poison. I don't really like it. Though these rhythmic appellations are supposed to be more cynical, yeah. So I guess I'll take that. Then there's Susan No Reason, Agnes No Manners, Dawn Loves Shawn, ... and a multitude of the gist. I have an interest in naming. You want a good name, you want to ridicule others', feel free to look for me. My codename's 'Exalted Titlist'. Aye. My services come cheap ^.^ ... you can also have my services for free if you tell me the password, which is 'VJERN' ... it's what I named my Titlist in Phantom Brave. He sucks in combat. Well, Titlists aren't meant to pwn maps initially, so I guess it isn't surprising.

Today we had our field trip for year '08! The whole year, I've been planning to bring a fan for the field trip! But in the end, I forgot. Anyways, I reached school not knowing that we are supposed to wear trousers. So I went there with my usual Adidas shorts. Thankfully I wasn't the only one with shorts. Actually in the end I was quite grateful for not donning trousers or denim especially like what most of the others wore ... as roomy and airy shorts are better suited to the terrain features of our second destination in the field trip. I will further elaborate later when we get till that point. So, we were first exposed to Cammy's great big lie of the century - 2D wasn't the class that has to split up into different buses. It was ours. Bummer, Cammy. Is Lodge that stingy to not prepare a complete set of 4 buses? It wasn't exactly very fun being clamoured together with a bunch of people we hardly know. I got into 2C's bus, which at least isn't that bad I guess. I think they're funny, jolly people; contrary to Sharon's and Dawn's comments. The teachers in charge of our bus were Mr Jeff-Likes-Decaf and Ms Josephine-Looks-19. I sat with Derrick, who had no appetite that he didn't have anything the whole day. We
first headed for Borneo Springs which took us quite a long drive (the next one's just about as long). Finally our class reunited! So we were assigned our own guide who interpretted Phil as the entire class for the first half of the tour. The machinery were fun to watch I guess, but then again
I'm nowhere near the interests of Gailardia Gardios that I'd go gaga over mechs. Never. The insides of the factories/warehouses were drab and boring (duh) ... then Dawn tried holding onto me! That was very scary! ... I guess it's mainly because I'm a conservative person? Like Gailardia, yeah, I'm quite shy with the opposite sex. I'm not like Johnny who likes to mengusap-usap Jocelyn like a perverse old geezer. But then again they ARE in a relationship, so I guess there are no more barriers? Then of course since they aren't married yet there's a barrier for that. That. Yeah, that. Though Johnny-kun doesn't seem to have the hots for that kind of thing so I guess things'll be okay? So, we later got served with free 'fresh' water which tasted so stale I strained myself
to finish it just as an act of courtesy. I think tap water tastes better. Borneo Springs' toilet lacks a mirror big enough for camwhoring, IMO. I'm not vain, girls! It's just that I like copying the JJBA poses, that's all. So I agree with James' comment on me being a poser but I'm not ... vain. Ara. As proof, I don't even post those pics. Also in Borneo Springs, while resting Cammy tried hooking up on a foreign woman =) ... but got interrupted by a male staff later. I also spotted a picture of Chua Soi Lek-san in BS. There are 3 other politicians beside him, but I can only identify him. See, his
sex scandal made him so much more popular than he was before. IIRC there was this article in the New Straits Times by this guy who looks up to SoiSoi (the cutest I can craft out of his real name?) ... he said that SoiSoi was still capable even after the incident and is also slowly climbing up the ranks again. Or something like that. Anyways Malaysia is TOO conservative, IMO. People have their own privacy. SoiSoi did not reveal his affair on purpose. Is it a must for him to apologise/resign? The government is insensitive. Period. Anyways, yeah, he really is making himself more famous than ever than what happened, and it also occurred to me that he never struck me as notorious at all. Hmm. The continuation of this post's bound to be tomorrow.

p.s. To Mike: ABBA rocks! ... At least more than you do.

Music Is My Hot Hot Sex

There were a multitude of alienated people, all with their own purposes. Those looking for gifts. Those looking for a read. Those window-shopping. Those working for money. All making up society. And we are just a fragment of all the people. Hmm, I'm not
writing a new story or anything ... it's just a spontaneous musing today while I was at MPH. I guess I'll be doing a more orderly flashback, so I'll start with the food sale report.

Okay, so this morning I went to the charity food sale at Lions' Nursing Home ... reached there around 9:20, much to my dismay (it's my sister's fault) as I had wanted to arrive when it starts. As expected, Mr Willie did go ... yeah, he is so nice a person, it would be weird if he
isn't doing charity, especially since it's such a short walk from his residence. Ha. A reminder for Seba-kun: I didn't go there just for THAT *ahem ahem* reason. I've been attending charity functions for quite a while
now. See, freethinkers aren't all that bad. Anyways, according to Seba's report, Mr Willie left before I arrived. Yay. I was like, O|-|_ ... yeah, a totally orzzy moment. Seba why didn't you help me get a photo or something!? Anyways, the food sale was okay, I guess. Mostly I bought from Nadia & Co. ... well, duh, it's obvious you'd support those you are acquainted with. Though seriously if they wanted to reap maximum profit from me they should've added all sorts of buns, pastries, Japanese stuff and cut down on the sweet stuff like chocolate brownies. Eww. I can't stand much choc ... I feel uneasy with it. I guess there are only 3 bloggers from 2A who are going to cover this event - namely Nadia, Seba and myself (duh, ain't I doing it now?) ... sadly Phil didn't manage to go ... boo. It'll be a 4-way coverage! Awesome. Well, it's just that each one of us views things differently, so seeing things through each other's eyes kinda fun. I tend to cover the more unique stuff that people in my school don't blog about at other
times though. After my driver (chauffeur is a word too elegant to be used here) came back after having his breakfast at who-knows-where, I immediately retrieved the greeting card I forgot from the car and asked Seba to
guide me to Daddy's house to complete the delivery. En route, we engaged combat with multiple Wild Hounds and finally had a fight against the boss, Cerberus, just outside Daddy's house. Seba fought with bare fists while I held my own with a plastic bag containing food. After the battle I healed our injuries with Fruit Jelly that I had in my inventory at that time. Sadly, reality (which Jessy endears so much) isn't that exciting. Basically, we just tried steering clear away from dogs. Life is such a killjoy. A partypooper. A big time drag. Blah, I'm so sick of it I don't feel sick anymore. Can a car just slam into me and get me into some kind of a deep coma so I can dream of myself in a fantasy world forever? And hopefully all doctors are so pathetic they can never recover me from unconsciousness. Okay, minus the car-slam-into-me part, I hate pain. Anyway, Wilson's super-duper-fantastic-brilliant-genius-magnificent plan has succeeded! ... Do they even check their mailbox? Should I have just thrown the envelope into the porch? Will the Vios run it down if I do so? Why is the porch so bare? They could use a good designer like me, I design awesome homes in The Sims. If I don't cut it as a writer, I can always be a home designer! I'll be more famous than
Eric from Casa Impian! I'd actually have a much better TV programme!
Jessy: "Why do you dream so big!?"

After the sale, Wiru-kun hit The Spring. A lame hypermarket, yeah. But my sister insisted. Well, it's an opportunity to check on MPH. Seems they've got a restock on the Twilight series. Initially I was looking forward to purchasing another book by Murakami-sensei, but then I went off browsing self-help books instead. Marriage, parenting and all that are very important to be planned early, so yeah, that's me, a family complex. According to Jocelyn and Jonathan, I do go overboard with my obsession for happy families. So I either checked those type of books or those on astrology. I have immense belief in astrology, as so far it never failed to sway from achieving its predictions. The music CDs in MPH suck ... they are either children music, Christian music or worse, hymns. If one wants a hymn, best just get one off a RPG's soundtrack. They're much better, I tell you. Then I tried looking for the exact same stationery that Daddy uses. I couldn't even find a thing. So I end up finding things to prepare for Dawn's Christmas gift, and also relented to giving PC games a try ... I bought Uru: Complete Chronicles. Boo, it's such a disappointment. Right, the conclusion is: PC games suck, online or not. As usual, I also bought Yaiba since there was a new release waiting for me on the shelves. Two more volumes and the series ends (I believe in this sense 'series' is singular? Oui?).

I'm fairly interested in the PS2 horror game, Kuon. Anyone unable to appreciate that gem, feel free to barter or sell it to me. Spells and summoning in a Japanese horror. Epic win. From gameplay vids I'd say the game is pretty intriguing, disturbing and worth the buy. Okay, every other local gamers, this is your golden to get earn some money by selling to me the following games (if you have it of course):

Tales of Destiny 2 (PS2) (JPN)
Tales of Rebirth (PS2) (JPN)
And yes Jordan Teng, I've found Silent Hill when you were talking so big about I will be unable of finding it in the city anymore. Why don't you just sell me SH 2 & 3!? You're not really into games anyway ... you don't even remember the names of MAIN PROTAGONISTS. Wow. But then again it's your own right to have a collection that you don't even care about, so ... whatever.

I've finished 3 (THREE) arcs of JJBA at once! Stardust Crusaders, Diamond Is Unbreakable and Golden Wind/Vento Aureo all taken down at once! And I want to go to Italy. Overall I like DIU the most, and the ending was kinda bittersweet, plus particularly sad for Hayato and his mother. The final battle, Josuke & Okuyasu & Hayato VS Yoshikage & Yoshihiro & Erba Gatta was epic, hands-down. However the rest of the boys disappointed me (Rohan, Koichi and Jotaro) for not participating but just gave a little aid near the end, and that was only Koichi who held down Yoshikage's hand and Jotaro who stopped time. Rohan virtually did nothing. Bummer, and he was one of the cooler characters. I also expected Joseph, Yuuya, Mikitaka and Yukako to help out in the final battle but they didn't even APPEAR. In DIU, my fav protagonist is Fungami Yuuya (Stand: Highway Star), I don't have a fav villain in DIU. In SC, I like Iggy (Stand: The Fool) the most, for villains I'd choose Terence T. D'Arby (Stand: Atum). Golden Wind was seriously kickass, and so far Giorno's my favorite main protagonist among the main protagonists (Jonathan, Joseph, Jotaro, Josuke, Giorno, Jolyne, Gyro, Johnny) of their respective arcs. Though if only Jolyne's Stand (Stone Free) was more interesting, I'd prefer her. Anyways, Giorno still isn't my fav protagonist overall, counting the minor ones. I prefer Narancia Ghirga (Stand: Aerosmith) over him. If Narancia doesn't exist, I'd still have another person to like more than Giorno, Trish Una (Stand: Spice Girl). In terms of villains in GW, I like Doppio (Stand: King Crimson) and Risotto Nero (Stand: Metallica)! Now I'm reading the very first arc, featuring Jonathan Joestar. There are no Stands! Argh!

What!? It's not even 9 yet? Wow, that's surprising. Anyhow, I like the rain ... Silver Lining is the best song currently for rainy weather enjoyment. Hoorah for Rilo Kiley! And the new band I tried, Cansei de Ser Sexy (literally, "I'm Tired Of Being Sexy) isn't so good but not too bad. This post's title will not be a PTC, considering how easy it is. Remember, only guess if the title's listed on the PTC roster. Lastly, Wiru-kun acted as if he knows so much of Daddy already so took the MyPersonality.info quiz in
his stead

The Verbal/Linguistic intelligence seems to be of too low a percentage for a language teacher. Yeah, well, it's proof that I don't know him enough yet. Don't ask me where I got that pic. I sure like the Personality Type result though.

p. s. Sure there are pics from the food sale. Just wait please.

King Among Kings

I'm blogging early tonight since I have to sleep early for the charity food sale at the Lions' Nursing Home tomorrow morning ... and I'm quite the heavy sleeper, except on holidays of course, since my body will automatically reactivate itself early due to the fact that it knows I can game already. Talking about sleep reminds me of After Dark ... a vintage novel I finished a few days ago (I have now moved on to South of the Border, West of the Sun ... which cover design Phil detests). The story was crisp, exquisite and enigmatic. All the more loveable. I didn't face a single bit of the common Boring Read Dilemma (BRD) that strikes
very often especially during the starting of a book. Thankfully with After Dark I didn't need to strain myself to
read through the first few pages and irritatedly wait for the plot to pick up. After Dark takes on a setting during the period after midnight ... life during the period when night dominates, something I
have always liked. I've never got a chance to experience nightlife outside before, and I've always wanted
to ... the very idea of it is exhilarating. I adore the night. The night is an entirely different world from the day (well, duh) ... it's mysterious, dark, chilly and exciting! And of course, it's the timeline when we are closest to the supernatural! Isn't that just scintillating!? Hmm ... yeah, I guess it's rather unusual to see me all hyped about something that isn't manga or gaming-related. One night I'll just jump through the portal, into the dark city at night and walk
across the entire city. I don't like the day and sunny weather. I love the night and rainy weather. Go me! Before moving on to another subject, I think I'll give my rating for After Dark ... 4/5 for surreal story, mellow setting and deep characters who all have a shroud of mysteries hiding them away from the reader. Sadly the book was quite short, but I'd say it was worth the money, though Lester was like, "OMFG you bought this thin book for RM 32.90!?"

On Wednesday we were allowed free activity for PE! A few of us brought badminton rackets while most of the other boys played basketball instead since they weren't good enough with their hearing to hear Phil's announcement to bring rackets on Tuesday. It was my first experience with formal, indoor badminton (though there aren't any nets)! Since 3rd grade I've been doing only street badminton, so this is a wholly different thing for a country boy like me. Having been practicing street badminton that is actually way tougher since while playing you need to take into account wind direction, wind speed, terrain property et cetera; my senses are quite well-toned, so I didn't do that bad in indoor badminton. That was actually surprising for even myself, especially given the fact that I haven't played for a few months already. Out of my class's Golden Trio which according to sports adept James consists of
Kyc, Jack and Lester; I've already faced Kyc and Lester. IMHO I think Lester has been the toughest opponent I've faced so far. His style is fast and accurate play while mine's defensive and tricky. I will be trying out Jack next week. I feel a bad omen about playing against him. Hmm. Anyways, since we are talking about sports, let's move on to yesterday's swimming class. Dawn was absent since her car fetched
her up late. I tried on my new pair of swimming trunks - they're longer than my original pair. I don't like it as much. It's pretty uncomfortable (the fabric) and it's fairly annoying to do the breaststroke with it. The class started with long-distance swimming, with me having to start swimming in the center of the pool so if I get a cramp of something in the deep end I have to find a way to get to the side on my own. The first time there, I seriously can't manage as it felt so scary as Dawn has described it, resulting in me steering to the side mid-way through the deep end. I can't help it, as the water wasn't lucid due to the rain earlier and the pressure
there was quite intense. The next time through there ... I easily overcame my fear of the center by making use of Mr Willie as some sort of a tool ... by imagining him being there. Lesson learned: One can always make use of his role model
as a stepping stone when needed. So, I pictured him on each ends of the pool and the imagined dialogue was ...
Willie: "Hiya son!"
Me: "Hey dad!"
Willie: "Wanna go for a ride?"
Me: "Sure dad!"
Me: "I'm a daddy's boy, in a daddy world, life in skin-flesh, it's bombastic, you can ruffle my hair, groom me up everywhere, imagination, that is my creation!"
Okay, so that part was actually made up now for Dawn who's ecstatic to hear me sing Aqua's Barbie Girl. For quite a while I kept to the idea of him being there and as I got used to that area, poof he went and Sara Bareilles' Love Song started echoing in my ears instead, even till the next hour of swimming, possibly since it's so catchy that I love singing it to myself a lot. It's either Love Song or Listen To Your Body Tonight or That's Not My Name these days.
Jessy hates the last song though. Pity. Jessy also hates people who dream big. Jessy is so realistic. I am so idealistic. Though actually I'm quite realistic too. As seen here:

My personality type is INTJ, the Strategist under the class of the Intellectual. Not listed in my personality badge is the Interpersonal intelligence, the intelligence for interaction with others, since it's my lowest intelligence. Anyway, to all other bloggers reading this, take both quizzes at MyPersonality.info and post your badges on your next update! Taking this as some sort of a tag, I tag ... Dawn! Phil! Jordan Siaw! Eugene! Nadia! It's much better than all the other super-lengthy tags right? But, ahem, we ARE talking about sports. So some time near 7, we are supposed to jump into deep water. That's the scariest thing there is in swimming class. I can't, even though a fellow swimmate kept encouraging me but I sadly I disappointed him by not doing it. I don't exactly think it's a case of aquaphobia, more like it's linked to my immense level of acrophobia. At school when playing captainsball or cancelling ball, I'm even scared standing as goalkeeper on the bench. I'm already scared of that low a height, so imagine jumping into the water. Still, I am scared of non-swimming pool water. I do not think it's fear of water. More like the water is a dense shroud hiding all the creatures within. I totally dread most aquatic creatures as the majority of them either bear venomous properties or grotesque features. Some are just carnivorous. I don't even bother talking about this
anymore. I've mentioned it once in class to the boys. But as usual, the boys especially Jordan acted all so brave and all, like he could face the creatures. Back during grade school when I was playing Ape Escape, the gigantic mutant fish was so horrifying. Also in Shadow of the Colossus, I dread fighting colossi #5, 7 and 12 as all 3 fights are in watery environments, especially for the latter two since #5 is more of an aerial battle while the other two are in water. It felt like a horror game fighting #7 and #12. Once again, I will say that we return to the subject of sports. This is the last part of it - jogging. After a long break from jogging (unintentionally, blame the hectic weather), I finally had a chance to jog again this afternoon. At the stadium I tried using the Sandman technique:

Kevin commented that manga really is informative. Yeah, I obviously liked that comment. But crappy overrated crap like Naruto is rubbish. Grr. Anyhow, the method really does make running a lot faster, and you feel lighter. Try it out!

That said, I think I should go now since I have to depart early tomorrow. For The Amazing Race 13, I support Ken & Tina!

I like Toni & Dallas too, but I hate Nick & Starr and Terence & Sarah ... annoying teams. Go Ken! Go Tina! Make sure you make a good comeback and overcome the Speed Bump next week! Good night people!

p. s. Please remind me of any typos or grammar errors.

p. s. (again) To Mark: I don't mind, I feel happy that people from other classes read my blog too!

Lighting The Flame Of War

Argh ... I am so tired. I can't hold out much longer tonight. That's a strange thing for me considering how much I tend to stay up during Friday nights, but I just feel very much exhausted. I suddenly feel like I'm an old man on his deathbed or something. The end of the year's coming round, so I guess it's natural for most people, if not all, to feel kinda down. Even though next year we'll still be in school, but consequently we'll be leaving the easy-goingness of life during 8th grade. As I've said, I am actually feeling nervous about next year. *goes off for 1 hour slurping on noodles and reading online manga* Satisfying my
hunger still didn't quite cut it. I do love the new manga I'm attracted to ... Uwasaya ... literally translated as Rumor Shop. Basically it focuses on the people in a certain company called Office UC, the UC short for Urban Creation. The few people working there all have their personal specialties (cosplaying, gossiping, hacking, fortune-telling) and solve surreal cases by manipulating rumors and urban legends. Overall I find the concept quite original and engaging, so I can't wait for the new releases. Anyhow, I actually have more to type about, however I am seriously having no more vitality in myself. So I guess I'll just surrender myself to slumber after this ... *yawn* Look forward to tomorrow's update ... which hopefully I can manage. Wow, this must be the shortest post ever in my blog. Scary.

Sleeping Slaves

Good day, people! Though in fact this wasn't particularly a good day at all (for me). Before I get into things, I must first state that from now on if I'm posting on a weekday, I can't really give large doses of content, given the limited amount of time compared to non-school days. Well, I did feed you all with long posts even weekdays last time, but next year there'll be a public exam coming up, and for the first time ever I started feeling a slight hint of anxiety within myself. I don't think I'll be as confident as I was back in 6th grade when taking my first public exam. Especially given how school is progressing nowadays. I ain't hinting that my results are deteriorating, that's a big no-no, despite Phil being able to jump 2 positions at once, my average did increase by 1.6 ... so I guess I'm quite happy with myself. It's been quite long since all the results were out, but I'm only reporting now. Overall I feel content with my performance, and at least this term I managed to ace one paper ... okay, so actually the throne was shared between Michelle and me. Oops, not Michelle, but Michael. Teachers frequently misread his name as Michelle ... so it's pretty much a running gag in our class for quite a long time now. It's the same case with Dawn who got called as Shawn most of the time by our History teacher. Actually it wouldn't be funny if ... um, let's say ... Jordan got referred to as Morgan, because Morgan is pretty much a unisexual name. But Michelle and Shawn are names used for their respective genders, thus making it funny  - despite how obvious the oddities are, teachers still misread the names that way.
Though of course, these kind of jokes won't have much effect if they're constantly repeated so it's only occasional.
It's rare to find jokes that don't wear off these days. The verb 'wear' in the context of exhaust reminds me of something new I learned of just now ... shell-wearers. I first knew about them in Stone Ocean ... during the part when two battles took place in Florida (forgot the specfic place name) ... Jolyne & Hermes VS Versace (Stand: Underworld) and Wes/Domenico/Weather (Stand: Weather Report) & Anasui (Stand: Diver Down) VS Enrico Pucci (Stand: White Snake). Basically, Jolyne and Hermes got into a empty car to look for Emporio and Versace, since it seemed to be a transportation free of any snails. Okay, for non-SO/JJBA readers, this may feel frustrating to comprehend. So I'll give a quick but detailed recap of events. Though if you don't find it quick enough, I apologize beforehand. Basically, Weather Report WAS (notice the past tense) an amnesiac Stand User
who aided Jolyne's party several times since the fight against Lang Wrangler (Stand: Jumpin' Jack Flash) during the quest to get Jotaro's Memory Disk into Savage Garden's hands. After escaping prison with Narciso Anasui to pursue Jolyne, Hermes and Emporio; Weather, Anasui & Vincent Van Gogh (yeah, seriously) beat Ungaro (Stand: Bohemian Rhapsody) before heading to a hospital where both Jolyne and Pucci (the main antagonist) were. When the boys (excluding Vincent) reached there, Versace (a major villain) was already nearly done with his first round against the girls (minus Emporio, who is a BOY and wasn't in the hospital). Versace has also retrieved Weather's memory/Memory Disk from Pucci and returned it to Weather, thus awakening his latent abilities
that he wasn't able to use while amnesiac, at the same time revealing his true name, Wes Bluemarines (as his mother named him) or Domenico Pucci (as he would've been called should he had lived without being switched at birth with another baby). Anyway, initially Weather's Stand which is also called Weather Report, can already control weather with ease. After the return of his past memories, he had access to the pinnacle of his Stand's abilities, Heavy Weather. Now he can even control the ozone layer, refracting the rays of sunlight and sending subliminal images (in the form of rainbows) of snails into the subconsciousness of men and beasts alike, giving their mental state a impact that will make them perceive of themselves as snails instead of what they actually are, eventually fully morphing their physical figure. So just what is subliminal messaging? Initially in either the 80s or the 90s, subliminal messaging has been used as a form of messaging. For example, in a cinema, an image of coke and popcorn will be slipped in between slides of movies for 1/24 seconds, so actually we don't see it, but eventually we will the thirst for coke and urge to bite on popcorn, increasing the sales of popcorn and coke in cineplexes by around 83%. Later on this method of advertising was banned by the FCC. Actually I first learned of the term subliminal messaging via the manga Yu-Gi-Oh back in 3rd grade, but at that time I never really knew what it meant, and despite only unconvincedly defining it personally as indirect messaging, I had frequently used it in writing. Thanks to Stone Ocean, I took the effort to do a research about it. I seriously don't see how manga can be negative influence to teens. I wish my father can just shut the freaking hell up about me reading manga and playing games. At least I ain't reading porn mags (exposure to pornography will slow down capabilities of the human brain gradually) or doing stupid online gaming (it's stupid for stupid people). I'm sure though, Mr Willie is more open-minded. Though I do feel a BIT unsure, since even teens like Sharon are severely narrow-minded. Is it just me, or do I stray away from the main subject a lot? Okay, so we're going back to the snail part. Right. So, snails are genderless, and reproduce by procreating ... technically, by just coming in contact with their feelers/antennae/eyes (??? ... disgusting). In this sense, those who have turned into snails with also turn others into snails by touching them. To avoid this outcome, Jolyne needs to escape the hospital untouched to look for Versace with Hermes who has already started changing into a snail. So in this car, Hermes saw empty snail shells ... which are suspicious but seemed harmless nevertheless. Later, she discovered to her horror of the presence of snails' natural predators ... shell-wearers, insects resembling ants that get into snail shells and eat away at the flesh. Both organisms are equally disgusting. The snail, especially. Darn, I HATE snails.

Oh noes! I still have so much more to write about but my mum just have to bathe fast and now it's my turn and up next's bed ... boo T_T.

Notorious BIG

*yawn* It's 4:35 in the morning! how I managed to wake up this early, I do not know. But since early awakenings don't come by frequently, I should make use of it well. So yeah, I figured I could update now.

Right, so about 2 weeks ago (which felt like 2 EONS ago) I was attending a birthday party. Wait, was it 3 weeks/eons ago? Well, I'm not too sure anymore. Anyhow, the thing in the above picture is one heck of a birthday cake ... It's actually just mocha ice cream with a lot of colorful toppings. The cake is wide and large, I know, but in terms of height it is but a midget. And the slices were thin. Boo. The party was celebrated at Marrybrown, and considering how little publicity it has, I doubt much people actually knows what it is. It's a fast food restaurant just like any KFC, McDonald's or Burger King. Actually I think the idea of choosing that place as a venue is dumb and unstrategic considering how little space there was. Oh, yay ... This is Dylan Kok's worst party ever, given there weren't any games or events and there's no way I'd go crazy and run around with the kids (bunch of 5th-graders who act like wild animals ... scary) and play in the mini-playground. And being set in a fast food bistro, yeah, the food were nearly entirely the normal, boring, cliched fast food you see nearly everywhere. I really only liked the Mambo Fries. Basically, ring fries converted into Marrybrownian terminology. At least they put salt into their fries, unlike KFC and Sugar Bun. Dylan Kok is known to have big parties held for him every year since 2006 so this year's was quite disappointing. Ara - I have so freaking wasted my time going there. And it forced me to have less sleep too. Used to have parties at night ... and parties during the second half of the day are always of more fun that those held during the first half. I don't especially like taking pictures of people, but I tried getting a nice snap of birthday boy. It was kinda annoying since he kept making lame poses like sticking out his tongue etc., which AREN'T cool or funny. Finally, he managed a simple smile. Phew.

Overall, I rate teh sleazeh partay 1/5. The 1 is for the venue being clean and hygienic. Yay. My ratings are always aggregated that everyone hates me doing judging. But I really look up to smexy judges like Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan plus the sites Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. I think Paula Abdul sucks. And since she is Muhammed Abdul's namesake, I guess that's why he sucks too, being the earliest to die in Stardust Crusaders. But then again his assailant, Vanilla Ice, has a Stand (Cream) that is just broken. And Abdul's Magician's Red isn't exactly very strong either, and he didn't pull off his strongest attack, Cross Fire Hurricane. Wait, it was more like he didn't have the chance. Kuh ... Araki-sensei always kill off characters I like (Abdul, Iggy, Kakyoin, Narancia, Foo Fighters, Weather Report/Wes). Although there are characters that I don't mind being killed (Abbachio, Caesar) since they were assholes most of the time when they were alive. I must admit Abbachio's death was a bit sad. But just a tad bit. Who cares? Narancia's was plain cruel, he just wanted to get thing over with quickly to be able to return to his hometown and resume school but Diavolo/Doppio just killed him off immediately after that. Tsk tsk tsk.

I placed myself halfway outside a moving car to take this shot. I tried taking it multiple times so that I can choose the best. I pick this one. Ow, I've got to run. School is up, and it isn't exactly a place I like going to currently. Ugh.
