Cross Fire Hurricane

Last two references still remain unanswered ..... =.="

The more I age, the easier it is for me to adapt with horror films. Now I can at least watch some from the start
till the end without looking away from the screen. The most recent one was Ginger Snaps. It's quite old. Yet
still great to watch. It got really good reviews from Rotten Tomatoes, getting a whooping 91% ... which is really surprising considering how much RT aggregates with its

criticisms. The movie was worth my time actually. I like the main actress (forgot her name) who played
Brigitte. There was plenty of suspense that got my adrenaline pumpin' near the end. Overall, 4/5.

I was just done reading Train Man. So I can finally start reading Twilight. The next time I go shopping for
books I must remember to buy Breaking Dawn, for both Dawn and me, due to our pre-set deal. Also if my
budget allows, The Diving Pool, by Osada Yoko. I wanted to pick it up the other day, but Twilight coupled with Train Man already tallied more than RM 100. And RM 100 doesn't come by easily. I wish the teachers at
school will understand this one fact. Train Man was a great read. I am currently practicing ASCII art! It's kinda fun, though tough for a beginner like me.

I dig bread. I dig pastries. I love confectionaries. As if to satisfy my lust for bread, a new bakery popped up in Kuching! I'd scream "Kyaaaaaaaa~~~" about anytime now. Actually I've already been there a few times, and it's over a week old already, so it ain't much of something new to the city people, especially those who live in the Bormill area ... *cough* Michael *cough*. It's called The Gingerbread House. It's actually a bakery cafe. I've always dreamed of owning one in the future as my main profession, with writing as part-time. After I find someone to succeed my business, only then will I retire and take up full-time writing. I think TGH has a really warm, fuzzy and kind of bittersweet ambience, which is all good. I like the music that is played as well. One can even feast on their meal outdoors. The selection of food is pure delish, and so are the drinks. I recommend the Cinnamon Raisin Danish and the Yin Yang. They go well together. The one con of that place is that it lacks
space. Yeah, space. It's a good thing that a shop's popular and attract many customers, but not when the
shop's all cramped up with severely limited moving space. Whenever I'm there, I'm bound to get stuck in the 'traffic'. Even my Breakthrough's of no use. In case you don't know, Breakthrough is my natural ability to slip
past incoming obstacles. Witnesses that can prove this are students of 2B/C/D as I use Breakthrough every school
day during lunch time. Given my body structure, being this flexible is kind of a surprise. Ironically, I
suck at gymnastics. Breakthrough is a special ability whereas my mind is capable of constructing the most logical path
of movement of someone or something, then construct one for myself that provides the smoothest form of moving through. For example, Edbert is standing in front of a rock which is
between
both of us. On the right side of the rock is a wall. So Edbert will most likely bypass the rock through the left, and that way, my muscles will spontaneously carve my body through whichever opening left with speed and efficiency. One weakness of this is when people are deliberately tring to block Breakthrough, which is possible by taking illogical paths of movement that my mind cannot predict. If I temper this ability more, it is possible to overcome this flaw. Also, it isn't a good idea to use on slippery terrain. The first time I used it on a slippery floor, I fell because swift movements are necessary. And swift movements aren't nice to you when there's little friction on the ground.

I suddenly feel like writing an acrostic poem. My random target is poor Dawn.

- Dawn Brittany Jerah -
by Wilson Liew

Dawn's my name
As you can see
Wilson's writin' bout me
Now for an intro!

Brittany's my middle name
Rings quite a glamour-filled resonance
Isn't that what you think?
To tell you the truth
There isn't much about me to know
Anyway, if you insist,
No disappointments I promise
Yummy, I love books so much I devour 'em

Jealous of my collection?
Elisa Kho's my cousin
Rawr- don't mess with her
All who did regretted it
Haha, pretty short intro much?

- end -

So cheesy, corny, and I'm sure I disappointed you. To be frank, I don't know much concerning Dawn to write about to begin with. Har. Har.

My friend, Chilli, sent in a request! He wants me to serve him up one unique, personal Stand! As I have said, my blog is INTERACTIVE, so send in requests and join mah contests, yarh? (Why am I speaking like this!?)

Name: Chilli
Stand: Fall To Pieces (Song by Avril Lavigne) (Sorry Chi I rejected your Stand name suggestion)
Abilities: FTP can produce flat, circular glowing glyphs anywhere Chilli wants. He usually produces them within something or someone. Anything on the sides
(both front
and back) will be deflected, separating them apart in a blast of invisible force
(impact of force varies depending on size of glyph created). Chi can use this to sever body parts, however it
will cause no injury at all, and the body's owner can control the separated parts at will. The latter rule excludes using the glyphs on unorganic substances, as things don't
have their own
mind to think. By undoing the glyphs, the separated parts will all merge together again with the original body. Should Chilli be able to use FTP's powers to great effect, he can easily stand his own in battle. As an example of sorts, he can produce a glyph on his wrist to blast apart him and the hand, resulting in the hand being shot forward, like a rocket fist. Given enough velocity, it can pack a punch (no pun intended). FTP's glyphs' effect also covers shapeless, non-solid substances such as liquids, or even air. This capability can be helpful when one least expects it - should Chilli or any ally fall from atall building for example, Chilli can produce a large glyph on the air below the body then quickly undo it, to propel the person up again.

Dawn also wants one.

Name: Dawn Brittany Jerah
Stand: Link (Song by L'arc en Ciel)
Abilities: Link enables Dawn to basically 'link' herself to practically anything. The sole requirement is to touch the thing she wants to 'link' with and then say the word "Linkage". She can experience whatever the linked item experiences, gain the effect of the item or even use the linked item
if it's a thing. For example, Dawn can link to a book, then mentally read it no matter where she is later. Further elaborating on this, she can make use of her linking abilities greatly given the wide variety of uses. She can link herself to another person, and can easily know where he or she is. Linking with webpages is also possible, and Dawn will be notified whenever there's an
update.

When she needs healing, she can use a linked medicine. Linkages can also be expanded to other things or
people. As an example, Dawn can link herself to a man who is wearing a jacket, then add Wilson to the linkage, so both Dawn and Wilson will experience the warmth the jacket provides. Linkages can be altered as well, usually done when Dawn wants to link negative effects to enemies. So when linking with a steaming kettle, instead of linking to herself she can choose to link it with an enemy so the foe will get burns. Dawn can mentally erase linkages at will, and also 'store' multiple linkages in her mind, enabling her to freely choose what to link with. It is possible to link with more than 1 thing at a time. In that context, Dawn can link her arm to both a bullet and a handgun, then her arm will have strength equal to that of a fired bullet.

Phew ... I'm finally done. Thank you for sending in you requests, Chilli and Dawn! See you next time!
