WA5 + Jogging + Chatting + All-nighter + P4 = Epic Rojak (2/2)
Tada - presenting; the epic, legendary, FTW, awesome, majestic, spectacular, pwnage, etc. RPG
of the Year 2008 (it's not announced yet, but pretty unsubtle the results are, isn't it?) - Persona 4. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4. Perusona
For (JP romanization). The sequel of the revolutionary
Persona 3 that made a MASSIVE impact to the RPG - no, GAMING industry. Unlike (most) movie
sequels, P4 does not fail to achieve higher standards than its predecessor.
First things first, end-game results (all pics taken right before true final boss, *spoilers* Izanami *spoilers end* with Apple iPhone's CameraPro, which is pretty decent for a camera-less poor guy like me ... not that I really need one):
- Title Screen -
- Title Screen, after pressing any button. Real hip and modern, and in billions of players'
opinions, this is the most stylish and coolest title screen ever. Look, the selections are even in PROPER English! The game is made by the Japanese! They are so much better than us
Malaysians (duh). The blank space is actually a silhoutte of the Main Character running.
However in this picture it is rendered motionless, sadly. -
- The final screen before the final boss. The true final dungeon is Yomotsu Hirasaka, that plays
the BGM Corridor. As you can see, my party includes MC, Chie, Yukiko and Kuma. For this
final battle, you can replace Chie with Naoto if you want, however I chose Chie, because Chie's
role is only to follow the pattern of Power Charge -> God's Hand. And since God's Hand is a physical skill (it consumes HP instead of SP), Chie
is more SP-conservative, and in this long
battle, SP is an invaluable asset. If you are over-leveled or have plenty of SP recovery items in stock, feel free to use Naoto though. Her
Mind Charge -> Megidolaon packs quite a punch, but
it sure does eat up her SP like cake. Kuma and Yukiko are needed, mainly because they can heal, and Yukiko
has the skill Salvation (full party healing + cures all ailments except Faint and Death). -
And there's more to come. A lot, actually. It's just that it's tough having a pre-set bedtime. Ugh.
